Ron's entertainment industry career began when he was hired as an illustrator at KABC TV in Los Angeles. In short order Ron revealed his aptitude as a lead designer, creating TV show main titles, network graphic packages, graphics for music videos, award shows, TV promos and visual effects.
In 2002 he entered the feature film visual FX industry and was hired at Cinesite in Hollywood to work on 'X Men 2' doing vfx concepts and matte paintings. He continued freelancing in the film industry and soon received membership into the exclusive VFX Society where he was nominated for matte paintings in the film 'Speed Racer'.
Throughout his career in entertainment Ron has also been successfully selling his original oil paintings through well known art galleries in both Scottsdale, Arizona and Vail, Colorado.
Ron continues to freelance with companies in Los Angeles, London, and Seattle doing film and TV visual effects, game illustration and print illustration.
And when he has time, he still loves to do fine art.
