The synopsis for We Had It Coming says, "In this allegorical tale of woman versus man, Anna looks to avenge her younger sister who was tormented by an abusive pimp."
Writer, producer, and director Paul Barbeau has crafted a tale in which Anna, in her course for vengeance, is subjected to a torrent of unwarranted, negligent, and abusive behavior from pretty much every man in her path.
Barbeau credits the Jeffrey Epstein affair and Ghislaine Maxwell's role in it as his launching point, seemingly hoping to expose the sad realities that women are still victimized almost daily for myriad reasons without even realizing it.
Perhaps using a drug- and prostitution-fueled plot robs the story of some of its allegorical validity.
The points are so in your face that you don't get much time to consider how it relates to the subtler indignities women suffered like those deceived by Epstein.

Media Luna will introduce both titles to buyers at next month’s Cannes Film Market.

Ep. 201 Turn This Mother Out
Being Human finally returned to Syfy with its second season Monday night and it was great to get back on the ride that thrilled us a year ago. The theme this year is “Temptation is a Beast” and even though we’ve had hints of what that means for Aidan (Sam Witwer), Josh (Sammy Huntington), and Sally (Meaghan Rath), we got to see how one of our roommates will be forced into revisiting his dark side. Every character got a great moment in the premiere and was set up what the future holds for them in Season 2.
Josh & Nora
Rarely have I led off a Being Human review with Josh but what a great way to end the season premiere, with Heggeman (Terry Kinney) getting that final shot as the camera went black. We were so consumed with the revelation of Nora (Kristen Hager) turning into a werewolf,...

A teenager, on the eve of his high school graduation, discovers that he is really a werewolf. Will he succumb to a pack that wants him to give into his animal tendencies or will he be able to control them?
Well made, well acted entry in The Howling franchise is certainly an improvement over all of the entries that followed the original, but what it lacks is distinction or anything that makes it remotely memorable, because their is a bit of a distance between the viewer & the film. Overall, this entry is entertaining as the pacing never allows for the film to lag, but the story lacks any real depth or substance. We get brief little glimpses into who the characters are, but the film fails to provide any meaningful dialogue...

Since vampires and lycanthropes are 'still' hot property in your local multiplex of late why not give an old long-forgotten franchise a quick 21st Century reboot? Well that's certainly what first time feature writer/director Joe Nimziki is attempting to do with Moonstone Entertainment's 'The Howling: Reborn'. A new trailer has been revealed by the production company and you can view below. 'Reborn' was supposedly based as loosely as possible on Joe Dante's werewolf flick 'The Howling', the cult 80's horror flick which starred Dee Wallace and Patrick Macnee and eventually spawned 6 sequels. 'Reborn' stars 'Pretty Little Liars' Lindsey Shaw, the gorgeous Ivana Milicevic (below), Landon Liboiron, Erin Agostino, Kristian Hodko and Sean Mercado. Check the trailer below....

There's nothing particularly interesting about the building blocks of The Bitter End. It's an online sitcom that follows the lives of a few urban twentysomethings as they deal with the identity crises, professional stagnation, awkward cohabitation, and sexual frustration endemic to life as an urban twentysomething. But The Bitter End is a perfect example of execution trumping concept. It's a really funny show. The series begins as Bernard (Daniel Beirne), a nebbishy aspiring novelist, welcomes his fresh-from-rehab older brother, Les (Brent Skagford) into his apartment for what we sense will be an extended stay. Bernard takes a liking to Eden (Vanessa Matsui), a coffee shop employee and working actress whose greatest achievement is a tampon ad in which she proclaims "Because it's my life!" Bernard wants to be part of that life and it becomes clear in the first episode that his brother is going to make a habit of unintentionally hindering that quest.
