Only Now Existing

James Garrett is a multi-talented musician, singer, songwriter, and producer who has performed and worked on a multitude of projects in the music and film industry. James' music project "Only Now Existing," in which he wrote and performed on every instrument as well as vocals, sold over 60,000 records of the first full-length release "Voodoo Doll" as well as its follow up album "Escape Artist." The first single release of the song, "The Ruins of Interest" peaked at number 69 on the Hot 100 national charts and placed in the top 40 of the Adult Contemporary charts as well. James produced, wrote, and directed a full-length feature film based on the album "Escape Artist" of the same name which premiered in Los Angeles and New York City and was sold and released successfully as he went on to direct a second feature film entitled "Level 3." In addition to producing many singer-songwriters, rappers, and bands as well as composing film scores for short and feature films, James has performed at CityWalk in Los Angeles as well as performed with members of the Counting Crows, Grammy winning film Composer William Goldstein, and many other talented and notable musicians during his time in Los Angeles.
