Label’s production is by Muthamizh Padaippagam while its music is by Sam C S and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan. B Raja Arumugam is the editor of the project and Vinoth Rajkumar is its art director.

The much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster horror comedy Chandramukhi (2005) has been delayed by a week due to some technical issues. The film, which was originally scheduled to release on September 15, will now hit the screens on September 28, 2023.

The director of the film, P. Vasu, announced the news on Twitter with a poster featuring the lead actors Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut. He also promised an extra special treat for the fans who have been eagerly waiting for the film.

Chandramukhi-2 release date has been pushed to September 28 due to technical delays. Vettaiyan & Chandramukhi will be back fiercer than ever.

Ott platform Prime Video has unveiled the trailer of the Amazon Original series ‘Modern Love Chennai’, the third Indian adaptation of the ‘Modern Love Franchise’, an original anthology helmed internationally by John Carney.

‘Modern Love Chennai’, which draws on a pool of renowned talent, including music maestro Ilaiyaraaja and film director Bharathiraja, draws its inspiration from the famous eponymous ‘New York Times’ column. It is a bouquet of six stories offering a glimpse of the soul of Chennai, its unique terrains and diverse inhabitants.

‘Modern Love Chennai’ will start streaming on May 18.

Ace director Vetrimaaran and actor Jayam Ravi have released the first look of director Lionel Joshua’s upcoming crime drama ‘Anna Poorni’.

The film, which is being produced by Komala Hari Pictures in association with One Drop Ocean Pictures, features actress Lijomol Jose, best known for her captivating performance in the critically-acclaimed superhit ‘Jai Bhim’, in the lead.

Seen along with Lijomol in the film will be actress Losliya and ‘Writer’ fame Hari Krishnan.

The first look exhibits the nature of the lead characters. The film is believed to shine the light on the difficulties faced by women within the family system. However, it has been made into a crime-drama so as to ensure that it appeals to fans rather than being a message-based preachy film.

Chennai, March 16 (Ians) Actress Shruti Haasan has developed an interest in scriptwriting. Shruti, who is also a singer, has been writing songs from the age of 15, and has lately started exploring scriptwriting.

"Writing has always been a liberating process for me. I have been writing songs, poetry or at times just my feelings down, and I believe it can help you express yourself so much better. I have been writing poetry and stories I would love to develop into fullfledged scripts and I'm currently working on those," Shruti tells Ians.

Actor Dhanush, who is also an established singer, has revealed that he has crooned a raw, soothing number for the upcoming Tamil revenge drama Asuran, directed by Vetrimaaran.

Actor-composer G.V. Prakash Kumar took to Twitter to announce that he has recorded a song called "Pollathaboomi", featuring voices of Dhanush, Ken Karunas and Tee Jay.
