Robert M. Coles was born to John H. Coles, IV
(1956-2010) and Lois E. Coles (1959-). He has one older brother. He
began an interest in acting at age 4 by watching his mother direct
plays at a local high school. He began theatre acting, then
transitioned into commercial, film and television.
His stage credits include: Marcellous Washburn in 'The Music Man', Nicola in 'Arms and the Man', Richard in 'Moon Over Buffalo', The Mayor in 'Seussical the Musical', various characters in 'Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)', Uncle Jocko in 'Gypsy', Dr. Bradman in 'Blithe Spirit', Dr. Adler in 'Web of Murder' and Tackaberry in 'How To Succeed...'
His film credits include: Le Puma in 'Le Puma', a film about a college student who snaps and decides to become a super villain, Spence in 'Student Film', a short about the trails of filming a college production, a featured actor in 'Blue Like Jazz: The Movie' and a detective in '23rd Psalm: Redemption'.
He's been featured in numerous commercials, including Doritos, Emdeon, and Campbells. He also is working on a children's television show, 'Round-Up Robby's Learning Adventures', an educational and fun show focusing on children and their adventures in Round-Up Robby's exciting world!
He also teaches and owns his own acting agency with his partner. Robert lives in Franklin, TN.
