William (Josh) Gillard is a Canadian Composer, Sound Recordist and
Audio Editor as well as a Musician and Songwriter and plays with Indie
Rock outfit The Danger Bees based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Josh began playing the guitar at age 12
and soon after learned to play the drums, bass guitar and synthesizer.
He played in several bands in Nova Scotia in various positions, writing
music and recording in Halifax studios until 2006 when he moved to
Toronto to attend IADT's Toronto Film School for Sound Technology. Josh
does Freelance work Scoring, Composing music and Sound Designing for
film & TV and works with The CFC (Canadian Film Center) as one of their
resident Production Sound Recordists and with Rogers TV mixing audio
for various mobile broadcast productions.
