A Mexican-Canadian filmmaker and storyteller, Alba forged her career as a director in Montreal, a vibrant multicultural bilingual city, after many years of working in the Mexican advertising scene as a 1st AD.
Her debut directing was in true crime television shows. In 2021 she was commissioned to direct a television movie for Lifetime US and and an eight-part Netflix show called Triada, currently in post-production.
Alba works in different genres, languages and countries.
She is writing and co-writing two different feature screenplays and in pre-production for a short film.
