Tómas Howser

Tómas Howser is an Icelandic actor based in London. Born in Hafnarfjordur, Iceland, Tómas developed a passion for film at an early age. Initially aspiring to be a film director, he discovered his love for acting at 15 during a school production of the musical Grease. This experience led him to attend an upper secondary school focused on acting.
After graduating and traveling the world, Tómas successfully auditioned for the Guildford School of Acting in the UK and moved there in 2019. During his time at GSA, he honed his craft on stage and in front of the camera, graduating with a BA in Acting in 2022.
Following his graduation, Tómas's first major film role came in the Icelandic film Redux, directed by Heimir Bjarnason. Since then, he has focused primarily on film and television. In 2024, Tómas appeared in the Icelandic TV series Húsó for RUV and in Rúnar Rúnarsson's film When the Light Breaks, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard category at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024.
