Heidi Ruud Ellingsen is a Norwegian actress. Her first notable performance was in a rerun of "Peer Gynt" in 2006 for which she won Coop Nords Cultureaward. In 2007 she participated in the Norwegian reality-show "Dreamrole" on NRK1, where she won the role of Kathy Selden in the well-known musical "Singin' in the Rain", which played on The New Main Stage of Oslo. Hereafter her career took off. She landed the female leading role as Sun in "Sun of the Ice People" based on the first three books in the "The Legend of the Ice People" book series. Heidi has also shown her great talent for dubbing, beginning in 2008 where she debuted as a dubbing actress in the animated feature "Disco Worms". She has recently dubbed the animated feature "Ice Age 4" as the voice of Peaches. In 2012 and 2013, she she played one of the lead roles in the Norwegian TV-series "Home" on the NRK.
