- Additional Crew
Amy is an interior designer and a set designer. She is from the east coast of the United States and has lived and worked in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, New Mexico, and California. Her career in design began in 2007 during which she worked on hospitality projects in South Carolina.
From 2009 to 2013, Amy completed graduate-level courses in architecture and business at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She also received a scholarship from AIA New Mexico in 2010, helped teach an undergraduate architecture course and worked in a fabrication lab.
Amy first entered the film industry as a background actor in 2013. While waiting on stage, she watched as sets were being constructed and was immediately drawn to the coordinated effort of the crew in designing and quickly creating the unique, temporary builds. Shortly thereafter, Amy worked on Big Sky, earning her first film credit and was offered membership in the IATSE.
She has also worked in Baltimore and Los Angeles as an interior designer, space planner and project manager. She completed several commercial renovation projects in Century City and in other areas in LA. In Maryland she has overseen complex renovation projects, such as in a hospital system during the first part of the pandemic, including the design and construction of a helipad on an existing patient tower.
Amy is an avid supporter of equal rights and the environment. In her spare time, she teaches students and professionals AutoCAD and SketchUp and volunteers at animal shelters.
