Simone Biles has joined the board for Religion of Sports, the production company founded by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan and Gotham Chopra.

Biles becomes the company’s newest member of its Board of Directors, where she will serve as a creative partner of Religion of Sports, helping the company expand their storytelling across the media landscape. The current board also includes founders Brady, Strahan and Chopra, as well as CEO Ameeth Sankaran and investment representatives from Shamrock Capital, Elysian Park Ventures and Cerro Capital.

Biles’ new appointment on the board expands her partnership with Religion of Sports after the company produced “Simone vs Herself” and “Simone Biles Rising,” which scored two wins at the Critics Choice Awards for best sports documentary and best limited documentary series.

On Tuesday morning New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, site of the May 5 Met Gala, announced both the event’s dress code and the host committee that will join the previously announced co-chairs of the starry evening, which raises funds for the museum’s Costume Institute. “Tailored for You” is the official dress code and reflects the theme of the exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which opens to the public on Saturday, May 10, and runs through Sunday, October 26. An exploration of Black style from the 18th century through present day, “Superfine” will guide exhibition attendees through a cultural and historical look at dandyism and the roles clothing and style have played in Black identities.

Hoda Kotb returned to see her Today co-stars just a week after her emotional departure from the show.

She reunited with former NBC co-stars, including Savannah Guthrie, Dylan Dreyer, and Jenna Bush Hager.

The occasion was Willie Geist’s first-ever live podcast event, Sunday Sitdown Live, held in front of a large audience in New York City.

The Sunday Today anchor’s event featured comedian Nate Bargatze as his special guest on stage for the live show.

Today and the podcast host shared a carousel of photos from the event on Instagram, including shots of Willie on stage with Nate and some of the audience members enjoying the show.

Willie’s sixth slide is a fun photo of him posing in the middle of Savannah, Hoda, Jenna, and Dylan in front of a Sunday Sitdown Live backdrop as they laughed over something.

The Producers Guild of America has announced its 2025 nominees for movies and television.

The list was released Thursday following two postponements due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Nominees for the guild’s top film prize, the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, include Sean Baker’s dramedy Anora, Brady Corbet’s historical epic The Brutalist, Edward Berger’s Conclave, Jacques Audiard’s musical Emilia Pérez, Jon M. Chu’s adaptation of Wicked, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown, Jesse Eisenberg’s bromance dramedy A Real Pain, Coralie Fargeat’s The Substance and Tim Felbaum’s thriller September 5.

The CBS Mornings star was among several surprise visitors throughout the morning’s program block, with others including Simone Biles and Walker Hayes.

Hoda Kotb was fêted on Friday during her last day hosting “Today” after 17 years at the show. Kotb announced her departure in September 2024, citing wanting to spend more time with her two daughters. She’s expected to continue to contribute to the show, and NBC News overall, after her departure.

At the top of the 7 a.m. Et hour, a supercut of the morning’s news stories — including a tease of Kotb’s on-air celebration — left her and her co-anchor Savannah Guthrie near tears early in the broadcast. The two anchors were hand-in-hand after the intro, with Kotb saying, “One last time, let’s do this.”

Fox and Denzel Washington – those in the fight against Parkinson’s and serving as a national spokesman for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, respectively – as key reasons for receiving the Medal of Freedom. Both have continued to fight the good fight for decades, so it is pretty amazing to see them recognized on this prestigious level. Notably, Denzel Washington was set to receive the Medal of Freedom in 2022 but could not attend due to contracting Covid-19.

Don’t expect to see Simone Biles at the 2028 Olympic Games. In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, as she was named Sportsperson of the Year, Biles said it would be “greedy” to return to the Los Angeles Olympics for another run.

“Because I’ve accomplished so much, there’s almost nothing left to do, rather than to just be snobby and to try again, and for what?” she told the publication. “I’m at a point in my career where I’m humble enough to know when to be done.

The 58th Country Music Association Awards highlight the best of the best in country music. Airing on ABC this year, the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville will house current country music greatness, where Peyton Manning, Luke Bryan, and Lainey Wilson will host.

Jelly Roll, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, and Teddy Swims are set to perform, along with special guest appearances from LA Dodgers star Freddie Freeman and Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles.

It’s time for the biggest night in Country. The 58th Annual CMA Awards will air tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 20, and you will not want to miss a beat.

The good news is that it’s easy to watch the awards live. You can tune into ABC from 8/7c tonight, catching all the performances, wins, and more from the comfort of your home. It’s only airing live on ABC.

11-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles and Oscar winner Jeff Bridges will take the 2024 CMA Awards stage as presenters. The 58th Annual CMA Awards announced the celebrities confirmed for Country music’s biggest night, hosted by Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, and Peyton Manning.
