Ky Fehlbaum
- Actor
- Casting Department
Before acting, Ky served for 10 years as a helicopter pilot and US Army officer, living in Central America, East Asia, and Europe. An Argentine-Swiss-American, Ky grew up dancing Salsa and Argentine Tango, but it wasn't until he studied ballet while a cadet at West Point that he discovered his love of performing arts, eventually leaving active duty service to study the craft. A graduate of Michael Howard Studios and The Neighborhood Playhouse, Ky was two years into his MFA of Acting at The New School when he was activated by the New York National Guard to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Deploying to the Middle East shortly after, Ky is thrilled to have returned to acting full-time.
Ky's unique skill set adds immense versatility to his acting. He pilots Blackhawk helicopters (UH-60A/L/M), skydives (USPA D-license and Pro-rating), and has trained in western boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai. He is multilingual (French and Spanish), an experienced marksman, and has substantial training in orienteering and wilderness survival. He's a graduate of the US Army's Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape Level C (SERE-C) course, where he learned such skills as escaping handcuffs and staying hopeful when all seems lost, as well as the French Foreign Legion's Jungle Warfare School, where he learned how to survive in triple canopy rainforest with only a machete, a pot, some matches, and a block of salt.
Based out of both New York City and Los Angeles, Ky uses his diverse life experience to help him tell meaningful stories, and hopefully add some goodness, love, and truth to the world.
