The winner of the 2025 Andre the Giant Battle Royal is Him. Carlito and R-Truth became the first two Superstars eliminated after they battled over an apple, kick-starting what turned into a chaotic Battle Royal. The luchadors of WWE formed an alliance and took out the arrogant Chad Gable, whittling the field. The final four were Carmelo Hayes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Andrade and Rey Fenix, leading to an all-out war between the Superstars as they vied for the coveted prize. WWE superstars love to own every inch of who they are. Things aren’t much different for Bianca Belair. If there’s one thing fans absolutely adore about Belair, besides her freakish athleticism and that whip-crack braid, it’s that she’s never tried to fit into a box or tone it down.
We’ve always loved when athletes wear their stories on their skin. There’s something inherently blunt and real about tattoos. With Bianca, it seems like it is a bit of both. She’s got a few small tattoos and a couple more noticeable ones. Not all of them, however, have aged like fine wine. There’s only one that she has openly talked about, and it’s the piece she eventually chose to get rid of altogether.
Let’s take a look at Bianca Belair’s tattoos, the stories behind them, and the one that she ended up regretting big time.

Match #1: WWE Tag Team Championship – The Street Profits def. Pretty Deadly The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Pretty Deadly had the chance of a lifetime as they took on WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits in their home country of England. Kit Wilson almost won the match after Montez Ford hit a frog splash on Elton Prince before Wilson caught Ford with a surprise rollup. Pretty Deadly once again had the crowd ready to celebrate after hitting Spilt Milk on Angelo Dawkins, but Ford kept the match alive. Despite the valiant attempt from Pretty Deadly, The Street Profits nailed Prince with the Doomsday Blockbuster to win the match and retain the title.

Ever since The Traitors premiered, a lot of the talk surrounding the show has been about Alan Cumming. That makes a lot of sense, since hosting the reality show has earned Alan a lot of new fans, and it is fascinating to look at how hard the job is for him. That said, there is a reason why fans were eager to learn about who would join the third season's cast. There have been several memorable The Traitors players, including several former Survivor players, who've made the show great.
As The Traitors fans will likely already know, it can be hard to predict who will do well on the show, as Survivor legend Parvati Shallow flopping in the castle proves. As a result, it is important to put a lot of thought into who is likely to do well on the show. With that in mind, it is fascinating to...

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque touched on the success of the company’s original programming during Thursday’s Q4 investors call, including the recently debuted local-language series Contra Las Cuerdas.
The Spanish-language series, which is executive produced by WWE Studios, debuted on Netflix globally on January 25. It follows a young mother who enters the wrestling ring in the arenas of Mexico to regain the affection of her lucha libre-loving daughter after being in prison.
“Strong content is the bedrock of this company and drives our business,” Levesque said during the call, citing several data points from Parrot Analytics.
Since its debut, the scripted comedy has become the third-most in demand show in Mexico, according to data from Parrot. It’s also currently sitting in second place on Netflix’s Top 10 in Mexico. The streamer doesn’t give viewing data by country, so exact numbers are unavailable.

Uncertainty continues to surround all things WWE following Vince McMahon's power play to rejoin the Board of Directors on January 6. There have been at least two backstage meetings to try and quell uneasiness felt by talent following rumors of a sale to Saudi Arabia. Wrestlers are also reportedly concerned that Vince McMahon will eventually make a play for Triple H's spot as the head of creative, leading to even more variability. On top of all of that, there's fresh speculation that McMahon might attempt to get back on television one more time before WWE is sold. It's been reported that Vince wants to sell the company by the middle of 2023 and has begun working with several entities, including J.P. Morgan, to facilitate that.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave the following update concerning McMahon's return to WWE television. "Is he going to go on TV? I don't know.

Earlier this week, rumors erupted online, indicating that WWE had been sold to the Saudi Arabia Investment Fund. These since-deleted or denied reports still left fans with a lot of questions. Not only that but stars such as Ronda Rousey were left twisting in the wind, unsure what the next week would bring. Let alone what WWE could look like in a month or two. Some wrestlers, such as Gunther, spoke out and stressed that he's not a CEO. He's a wrestler, and there's little reason to pay attention to what's going on in Stamford. Other reports indicate that some talent would be willing to walk out over a sale to Saudi Arabia. What kind of impact would a move like that have on members of the WWE universe, however? It's fair to wonder if they'd be willing to turn off Raw and SmackDown for the rest of their lives...

There's been a ton of WWE news this week, and virtually none of it has had anything to do with wrestling. Vince McMahon forced his way back onto the board of directors on January 6, with the accompanying press release indicating that he intended to facilitate a sale of the company. A quagmire of rumor and innuendo followed, reaching an apex on January 10 when several pro wrestling insiders reported that WWE had been sold to the Saudi Arabia Investment Fund. It was called a "done deal," leading to widespread panic on Twitter and Reddit. However, selling a publicly traded company isn't as simple as forcing through some paperwork. What if McMahon had sold WWE this past week, though? How much money would he have been looking for in a sale?
Dave Meltzer attempted to shed some light on this question in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. "Analysts have noted Comcast,...

Rumors about WWE being sold to Saudi Arabia continue to make headlines, and stars such as Ronda Rousey are as in the dark as fans regarding what's happening. On Friday, Vince McMahon powered his way back into the Executive Chairman of the Board position. Stephanie McMahon retired from WWE entirely just a few days later, and scuttlebutt that the company had been sold to the Saudi Arabia Investment Fund soon followed. Those rumors turned out to be untrue, but the whirlwind of behind-the-scenes and upper-level activity has left some wrestlers feeling frustrated.
During one of her recent gaming streams on YouTube, Rousey was asked by a fan if she'd be appearing at the February 3 SmackDown show in Greenville, South Carolina. WWE is constantly trying to put up-and-comers into positions where they can succeed, and Ava Raine is no different. She's The Rock's daughter, and the company likely sees big things in her future. She's just 21 and has yet to make her in-ring debut on Nxt. Ava Raine has been running with The Schism since debuting with the group in late October. She has been impressive with a natural and effortless charisma that escaped even her father during his early WWE days. The company won't be looking to rush her onto the main roster full-time, but the door is open for her to make herself a known commodity to fans of Raw and SmackDown.
On the January 9 episode of Raw, Judgment Day won a tag-team gauntlet match to earn the right to take on The Usos for the tag titles. This bout could be a simple one-off, perhaps at the Royal Rumble.

Jay White calls himself The Catalyst Of Professional Wrestling, and if a recent report is accurate, he might get the chance to prove that in WWE soon. Switchblade recently main evented Njpw's biggest show of the year, Wrestle Kingdom 17, losing the company's World Heavyweight Championship to Kazuchika Okada. That might have just been the harbinger of more considerable changes for Jay White, as he's scheduled for a Loser Leaves Town match against Hikuleo on February 11. Oddly enough, WWE has also had an interest in signing Hikuleo, which is the main reason why the outcome of his match against White is even in question.
In a recent report, Fightful Select wrote, "White's contract is up relatively soon, and is expected to leave New Japan Pro Wrestling, per those in the company." Fightful also reported that "WWE sources seemed confident they would land him" while also noting that Jay White can't be...

Not all tag teams are destined to get split up by WWE, but The Street Profits have always seemed fated for runs as singles stars. During any other recent era, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins would be multiple-time champions in their division, spurred on by their physicality and natural charisma. Unfortunately for them, they exist in the same timeline as The Usos. The Bloodline members have held the SmackDown titles for 540 days and the Raw belts for 234. That continuity is good for the prestige of the championships but bad for The Street Profits.
Too often, Ford and Dawkins end up playing second fiddle to The Usos. There are worse lots in WWE than being the tag team that can almost always get four- or five-star matches out of the champs. Yet that might be the ceiling for The Street Profits while The Bloodline continues to run roughshod over the red and blue brands.

Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, the First Raw of 2023, right here on Nerdly… Let’s see what went down this week and see how it bodes for the year ahead!
Match #1: Bianca Belair def. Alexa Bliss (Dq) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Bianca Belair put her Raw Women’s Championship on the line in a very tough title showdown against Alexa Bliss. When the action moved outside the ring, Bliss spotted two different Uncle Howdy faces in the crowd. Moments later, the TitanTron began to flicker, and Bliss to became unhinged and lost control. After attacking the official in the ring, the incensed Superstar went ballistic on The Est of WWE and delivered two brutal DDTs to her onto the steel ring steps.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Solo Sikoa def. Elias The following is courtesy of wwe.

When WWE fans look back at the year 2022, it'll largely be considered the year of Roman Reigns. He won the unified championship at WrestleMania 38, and never looked back. Both Raw and SmackDown have mostly centered on the Tribal Chief and his Bloodline faction. So much so that WWE is running the risk of this angle growing stale before it can pay off at WrestleMania 39. If fans will remember 2022 as the year of Reigns, then which superstars could own the upcoming 365 days?
Both the red and blue brands appear to be approaching a state of flux in 2023. Most pundits believe that Roman Reigns will be working a much lighter schedule following WrestleMania 39, giving audiences a chance to miss him while also allowing Reigns the chance to take a breather. Assuming that Brock Lesnar will only be used for shows like Crown Jewel and WrestleMania, WWE will have a few major roles...

WWE Raw featured a handful of surprises, but none were more significant than Rhea Ripley's impromptu match against Akira Tozawa. The show opened with a bout between the Street Profits and the tandem of Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Tozawa accompanied Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford to the ring, while Ripley and Dominik Mysterio rounded out the Judgment Day quartet. In the closing moments of that tag-team tilt, Tozawa spits a liquid implied to be a hard liqueur into Mysterio's eyes, infuriating Ripley. Rhea challenged Akira to a match in response, and WWE, somewhat shockingly, made it official and rang the bell.
Intergender wrestling isn't a concept that WWE has worked with extensively. On a base level, that makes sense. WWE is a publicly-traded company, and the optics of a man hitting a woman, wrestling match or not, on live TV aren't good. Ripley Vs. Tozawa was a...

WWE superstar Bianca Belair poses for a series of selfies on Instagram. Pic credit: @biancabelairwwe/Instagram
WWE superstar Bianca Belair recently shared a group of stunning throwback images featuring herself and husband Montez Ford as they enjoyed some time together on the beach.
In the collection of images, the WWE Raw Women’s Champion wears a gorgeous black bikini and hoop earrings, with her hair flowing down rather than rocking the long braid fans see her with when she’s in the ring.
Bianca’s solid black two-piece swimsuit features metal hardware for parts of the unique design, including a gold zipper on the bikini bottoms and a stylish belt under her top. In addition to the hoop earrings, additional images show her wearing several necklaces.
Montez wears a pair of black trunks to match his wife and has on an eye-catching thick chain necklace as an accessory for his look.

Match #1: Seth “Freakin” Rollins def. Angelo Dawkins The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
One week after Montez Ford valiantly fought The Visionary, Ford’s partner Angelo Dawkins got the chance to shut up Seth “Freakin” Rollins for good. After the match last week, Rollins tried to put Ford on the shelf wiht a post-match Stomp, but Dawkins came chase him away. Dawkins started off hot, nailing Rollins with a pounce on the outside of the ring. After Rollins mocked Ford, who was at ringside, Ford brought a steel chair to the ring, but Ford was thrown out by the official, giving Rollins an extra edge. Welcome to this week’s review of WWE Raw, the company’s flagship show which this week follows one of the worst episodes of Smackdown I’ve seen in some time. And yes, that’s exactly what I said last week but the same applies to this week! Let’s see what this show has to offer…
Match #1: Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair def. Carmella The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The margin of error could not have been tighter for this encounter as Carmella could win the Raw Women’s Championship via pinfall, submission or count out. A perennial thorn in the side of The Est of WWE, Becky Lynch made her presence felt before the match laying out the champion with a Manhandle Slam. Lynch scouted her competition from the announce table, as it was announced that the winner would face her at SummerSlam for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Especially in light of Survivor Series’ struggle to maintain its identity, that it has earned over the years, as one of the Big Four PPVs (or PLEs nowadays), many have argued that Money in the Bank has become the new 4th biggest event in WWE’s calendar year. The choices made on this night do have – and have had – major implications for WWE storylines going forward. So, with this in mind, and with the shadow of SummerSlam looming at month’s end, we get a sense of where we are heading here into WWEs peak summer season. So how did things pan out? Let’s find out…
The show opens with a video package dwelling on the whole concept, you know the drill by now.

These days, it’s hard to fill three hours of (mostly) live programming every week. WWE’s “Raw” has turned to its rookie tag team champions, the Street Profits, led by the charismatic Montez Ford, to keep audiences engaged for 180 minutes each Monday.
Viewers’ cups have runneth over as former U.S. marine Ford (real name Kenneth Crawford) runs his mouth and frog splashes opponents from heights air traffic controllers generally monitor.
While he and pro-wrestling partner Angelo Dawkins continue to dish out L’s in the ring, they’re also being used these days in comedic vignettes with rival tag team The Viking Raiders. To date, the two squads have competed outside the squared circle in basketball and golf. Tonight, they’ll head to the bowling alley.
TheWrap chatted with Ford last week, before he traded in his kicks for gross rental shoes. Read a portion of our Q&a below.
