Rita Ferrando is a Canadian-Argentinian director, she studied at the National Ballet of Canada before pursuing her Bachelor's degree at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) in Film Studies. Her work has been supported by the National Film Board of Canada, The Canada Arts Council, and The Liaison of Independent Filmmakers. Ferrando's films have screened at Toronto International Film Festival, 25FPS, Rencontres Internationales du Documentaire de Montréal, McEvoy Arts Foundation, Festival du Nouveau Cinema, Beijing International Short Film Festival, True / False, Sheffield Doc Fest and the International Film Festival of Rotterdam.
