When I first played this game, I was about 8-9 years old, and I still play it at 13! As I first popped in the game, I was amazed at the graphics and immediately told my dad, "Thanks for the game!" First, the campaign is great, even though, by todays standards, the environments are bland and repetitive. Getting to fly the American planes in those spectacular new graphics was amazing, getting to be the famous ace, gunning down zeroes and Oscars. Second, the experience overall was great. Learning how to properly take off was great, and using the keyboard to control the flaps on your own was pretty cool. Third, the (before mentioned) graphics were spectacular. The rain, lightning, explosions, tracers, virtual cockpits, etc. were all great and vivid in detail. It's not perfect, but it is the best flight game...ever.
