In this episode, I dispise how spongebob's friends are so fake to him. I cannot stand the fact that this is what children are taught. The moral of this episode is, "you should change yourself just because people say something bad about you." That's all I could make out. What went through the producer's heads when they made this episode? "Oh yeah, let's make an episode where spongebob gets left out and told how to live his life! Perfect!" Like, no. The message of this episode is horrible. Made me want to cry watching it because I think it glamorizes fake friends. Not good. This caters to an age group! Producers need to stop and think about how media affects kids. I watched this with my brother for crying out loud! What can children take from this episode? Whatever happened to authenticity? I don't think I'll ever watch this episode again.
