Anthony is an Emmy winning Producer, Director, and Creative Storyteller with a career that spans Film, Television, Commercial and Technology where he holds several patents in the Interactive Video space. His career began when his senior thesis short film 'Four Faces of God' won him critical praise at the Sundance Film Festival. Capitalizing on that notoriety, Anthony went on to setup several film projects, including one with Adam Sandler, before going on to work with legendary Walter Hill.
At 27 he shifted his career slightly and founded Sponsor Me, Inc / The Next X, the first multimedia broadcast, branding and distribution platform, providing compelling action sports content across multiple devices: Television, Web, and Mobile. The concept was to take an unsponsored action sports athlete and take him/her from zero to a brandable action sports hero in 8 weeks.
Anthony has produced, directed and/or developed content for Showtime, Viacom, Disney, Millennium Films, Sony Pictures, and countless commercial brands. His love for story, and the way audiences connect with, and around great content, has always been a driving force for him. Whether it's on the big screen, the TV, or a mobile device, engaging with an audience is what gets him up in the morning (and far too often keeps him up late at night), much to the dismay of his wife and three sons.- Jonathan Nguyen was born on 4 March 1987 in Fountain Valley, California, USA. Hope Lopez is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and Chicana activist with more than six years of professional experience in directing, screenwriting, production, editing, and acting. Her goal is to bring an intersectional lens through complex characters so that future generations of children do not face the detrimental effects of identity erasure.
At California State University Long Beach, Lopez cultivated her conceptual and technical skills while falling deeper in love with her passion for cinema. Concurrently, Lopez learned screenwriting, production management, editing, acting, cinematography, and directing. In addition to supporting the Producer's Club as Vice President, she served as Staff Writer and Supervising Producer of Writers' Block. After three years, Lopez graduated with a B.A. in Film & Electronic Arts with a concentration in Screenwriting and Production Management. Afterwards, she obtained an M.F.A. in Cinema & Television Arts in Screenwriting from California State University Fullerton. All the while, Group Effort Initiative selected Lopez to participate in the 2022-2023 mentorship program to create an accessible pipeline of success toward her career in film.
While pursuing higher education, Lopez worked as a Development Intern and Writer for three media production companies. These duties allowed her to enrich a practical understanding of film and television production while refining her expertise in social media content and brand marketing. Meanwhile, Lopez served as Co-Host and Executive Producer of a podcast, Let's Get Creative, which shines a light on emerging artists. In this role, she championed the first two seasons through an authentic on-camera presence and intimate connection between interviewees and company affiliates. These positions allowed Lopez to co-create a nonprofit organization, Moonlight Comedy Productions, in which they bring intersectional representation to the comedic space while providing foundational apprenticeships and volunteer opportunities for young, talented filmmakers. Because of these culminating experiences, Lopez synthesized her lifelong drive for activism and filmmaking by employing and showcasing diverse voices who create brilliant stories satirizing the socioeconomic conditions of modern society.
Some of Lopez's noteworthy credits include co-writing, producing, and acting in the coming-of-age comedy SuperNed (2023) about a socially awkward queer teenager wanting to escape her high school bubble by being a superhero and writing the family drama A Rose's Thorn (2022) centering around the grief of a mother and daughter following a loved one's death.- Casting Department
