Director of photography Shane Hurlbut, ASC works at the forefront of cinema as a storyteller, innovator, and discerning collaborator, who brings more than three decades of experience to his art.
Most recently, Hurlbut worked on the Netflix film Love Hard starring Nina Dobrev and Jimmy O. Yang. The story follows an unlucky LA writer who falls for an East Coast guy on a dating app and decides to surprise him for the holidays, only to discover that she's been catfished.
In addition, Hurlbut lensed the Disney+ original film Safety, along with Holidate for Netflix, starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey, and the pilot episode for SyFy's Resident Alien, starring Alan Tudyk.
Hurlbut frequent joins forces: with director Scott Waugh (on Need for Speed and Act of Valor); with McG (on Rim of the World, Netflix's The Babysitter, Terminator: Salvation and We Are Marshall); and with Gabriele Muccino (on There Is No Place Like Home and Fathers and Daughters).
His additional film credits include: Semi-Pro; The Greatest Game Ever Played; Into the Blue (2005); Mr 3000; Drumline; 11:14, which earned Hurlbut a DVDX nomination; and The Skulls. Notably, his television credits include the first season of AMC's Into the Badlands (2015).
Earlier in his career, Hurlbut photographed iconic music videos including Guns N' Roses' November Rain and collaborated with artists Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, The Rolling Stones, and Nirvana. His debut feature film, The Rat Pack, received critical acclaim and earned him a nomination from the American Society of Cinematographers, making him the youngest nominee to date.
Hurlbut is based in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife Lydia, who runs Filmmakers Academy, a platform dedicated to educating the next wave of great filmmakers. He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers, the International Cinematographers Guild/Local 600, and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Allison was born in Ithaca, New York, and raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He later moved to Evanston, Illinois, where he attended Evanston Township High School and graduated from Northwestern University. He later studied playwriting as a fellow of The Juilliard School. His debut novel, Christopher, was a finalist for the 2004 PEN Center USA Literary Award. His third novel, Undiscovered Gyrl, was made into the film Ask Me Anything, written and directed by Allison. He recently directed the sequel, Another Girl, also based on one of his novels.- Black American character actor. A graduate of Ithaca College and Dillard College, he studied voice culture and performing arts. As a surgical technician for the U.S. Army in World War II, he was decorated for service in the South Pacific. He contracted tuberculosis during the war and was unable to continue plans to become an opera singer. He studied theatre at San Jose State College and began appearing in plays in and around San Francisco. He relocated to Hollywood in the early 1970s and spent the next three decades appearing in commercials, television programs and films. He died in August, 2002 at the age of 83.

Alex Haley served in the United States Coast Guard during the Second World War, Korean Conflict, and Cold War, and was the first African-American Coast Guardsman in the modern era to reach the rank of Chief Petty Officer. This paved the way for many other black men and women to rise into the senior enlisted ranks in the naval services. He also holds the distinction of being the first Coast Guardsman to be designated in the specialty rate of Journalist in recognition of his able service to the Coast Guard's and Navy's public affairs and history programs. This was a significant position of responsibility for shaping the public image of the Coast Guard, and reporting news within the service, and the broke the previous tradition of black sailors serving almost exclusively in menial jobs as cooks, stewards, and stevedores.

Kyle Jarrow is a Brooklyn-based writer who creates work for film, television, and the stage. He wrote the film Armless (dir. Habib Azar), which was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival 2010. He won an OBIE Award for his Off-Broadway hit play A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, which has subsequently been produced around the country. Ray June's experience as a cameraman in the US Army Signal Corps in World War I helped him become one of the top cinematographers in the industry. He did some of his best work at MGM, and helped develop what became known as "the MGM look": a rich, elegant, glossy veneer that set that studio's product apart from every other. Ben Frahm began his professional career selling the script "Dr. Sensitive" to Universal Studios (with director Tom Shadyac attached) and serving as a story consultant on the critically acclaimed film "How to Train Your Dragon" for Dreamworks Animation, for which he was given a studio credit.
