One of the great movie villains, Clarence Leroy Van Cleef, Jr. was born in Somerville, New Jersey, to Marion Lavinia (Van Fleet) and Clarence LeRoy Van Cleef, Sr. His parents were of Dutch ancestry. Van Cleef started out as an accountant. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard minesweepers and sub chasers during World War II. After the war he worked as an office administrator, becoming involved in amateur theatrics in his spare time. An audition for a professional role led to a touring company job in "Mr. Roberts". His performance was seen by Stanley Kramer, who cast him as henchman Jack Colby in High Noon (1952), a role that brought him great recognition despite the fact that he had no dialogue. For the next decade, he played a string of memorably villainous characters, primarily in westerns but also in crime dramas such as The Big Combo (1955). His hawk nose and steely, slit eyes seemed destined to keep him always in the realm of heavies, but in the mid 1960s Sergio Leone cast him as the tough but decent Col. Mortimer opposite Clint Eastwood in For a Few Dollars More (1965). A new career as a western hero (or at least anti-hero) opened up, and Van Cleef became an international star, though in films of decreasing quality. In the 1980s, he moved easily into action and martial-arts movies and starred in The Master (1984), a TV series featuring almost non-stop martial arts action. He died of a heart attack in December 1989 and was buried at Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills.- Actress

Mario Xavier was born on December 8, 1980, in Sommerville, New Jersey. His parents relocated to South Florida a year after his birth due to his health conditions. He spent most of his school years at home ill. During this time, he spent countless hours watching television and movies. It was this that led to his interest in acting. Mario began studying martial arts at age 5 on the advice of his doctor. At age 16, he and friends Mike Hicks and Robert Acevedo borrowed his parent's video camera and began making short movies. In the years between 1997 and 2001, Golden Dragon Films (their own nickname) had produced over 50 short movies. Clay got his first taste of the limelight at age 3 singing "You are my Sunshine" on stage at Foster's Clam Bake in Wells Beach, Maine. From that point on, he was hooked. Thanks to his parents, Paul and Carol, he and his sister, Kelly, spent their formative years on stage and behind the scenes at the Riverfront Playhouse in Redding, California. It was here that his love of live performance was born, and where he got the chance to work with the young Tiffany Brissette.
In high school, he tried his hand at both theater and dance, and he took his enthusiasm for the stage with him to Penn State where he performed in multiple College and Community Theater productions including 'The Day Room' by Dom DeLilo and Sam and Bella Spewack's 'My Three Angels' (his first lead). Clay's work with Penn State Behrend's Concert Choir got him on stage at Carnegie Hall, and he spent four years studying and performing with the Penn State International Dance Ensemble, serving as their Vocal Director for his final year. He worked in several student films, including 'Every Day' by Kevin Burke, which was featured at the Telluride Film Festival and won a Student Emmy.
After graduating with a BS in Science from Penn State, he packed up and moved to Boston, where he eventually became a member of the original Improv Asylum Touring Company. In his time there he worked with the likes of Amy Roeder, Lisa Schurga and ever so briefly studied with SNL's Amy Poehler. He did several short films for the New York Film academy, including 'Second Chances' with Teresa Huang, and he served more as a lighting instrument than an extra in the Brazilian film A Fronteira (2003).
In 2003 Clay relocated to California to be closer to his family and continues to try to find his place in the Bay Area's comedy scene. He serves as supervising producer for Moron Life (Sketch Comedy), which made news because of the Michael Richards racial slur debacle, and of which two sketches have appeared on Torrent (2006) on G4-Tech TV in Canada. He is the associate producer for the San Francisco Improv Festival, working with Shaun Landry, and occasionally gets cool jobs like the Perfect Proposal (2003) with Nikki Boyer.- Actress
