When Johnny and Pat go to the Greenwich Observatory, they talk about "longtitude". Three times the word is said as "longTitude", but the word is longitude - only one 't'. Please see - a dictionary or the websites for the National Geographic Society, the Royal Museums Greenwich or the National Maritime Museum.
- While technically this is a Factual Error, in fact it's an error so common as to be more common in everyday speech than is the correct pronunciation (rather like February/Febuary). So, really, it's just a reflection of normal life.
When Bonar Colleano exits Southwark cathedral the shadow of the camera is clearly visible on the churchgoers leaving with him.
When Maisie 'hides' the gems in the brilliantine they are still clearly visible. So in fact she hasn't hidden them at all, other than putting them inside a closed tin.
