It takes them only nine days to reach Mars when, in fact, it would take between seven to eight months depending on the relationship of the Earth to Mars at the time of launch.
They lose radio contact with Earth about two days into their trip to Mars yet radio waves extend without limit in space.
The wire pulling the spaceship model up during the launch from Mars is clearly visible.
