Not technically. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) was written by the same author (Hunter S. Thompson) and does have the same characters, but the plot and story is not connected to or a continuation of Where the Buffalo Roam.
Two other movies have been adapted from novels by Hunter S. Thompson: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) and The Rum Diary (2011)
