Actor Abhishek Bachchan and megastar Amitabh Bachchan presented a “drunken act” on the set of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, leaving everyone in splits. In the special episode, the star cast of ‘Ghoomer’- Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher and filmmaker R Balki, were present on the set of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’ (Kbc).
Before the ‘Super Sandook’ section began, R Balki said, “Abhishek is playing a drunk coach in Ghoomer.” The filmmaker says to Amitabh Bachchan “you are an icon ‘Sharaabi’”, referring to his character in the movie 1984 movie ‘Sharaabi’, in which Amitabh played the character of Vicky Kapoor. Balki requested that the father-son duo recreate one drunk scene.
The crowd cheered and shouted ‘Ab’. Abhishek said, “dekhiye Og to yeh hain”, pointing to Amitabh. He says there are so many scenes where he has played the drunk character like in movies ‘Satte Pe Satta’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. But my favourite is from...

Mumbai, April 12 (Ians) Veteran Bollywood actress-turned-politician ‘Dreamgirl’ Hema Malini left many Mumbaikars rubbing their eyes with disbelief when she hopped onto a Mumbai Metro train for a ride and later commuted in an auto-rickshaw.
The 74-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha MP from Mathura shared pictures and videos of her memorable journey on the public transport – the lifeline of over eight million Mumbaikars – on social media.
En route, sporting a pink shirt and creamy-white trousers with a handbag slung on her shoulder, Malini warmly smiled and interacted casually with several commuters, and even posed for selfies with her fans on the Mumbai Metro ride, and then shot her experiences during an autorickshaw commute to her home.
“I must share with all of you my unique, wonderful experience. Drove 2 hours to reach Dahisar by car, so tiring! In the evening decided I would try the Metro and Omg! What a joy it was!

It’s not a bad time to be a fan of the superhero genre. With Marvel and DC releasing shows and movies most months out of the year, there’s sure to be something to appeal to just about everyone’s tastes. Unless, of course, you’re a fan of Amazon Studios’ The Boys. The Boys fans have had it tough in the year and a half since Season 2 was released. Amazon put out monthly “Seven on Seven” Vought promotional videos/cable news parodies on YouTube and an official release date has been set for summer, but it’s not the same as watching a show and certainly not the same as watching that show. After all, very few programs — superhero-related or not — have managed to balance style, substance, cultural critique, and absolute off-the-wall craziness the way The Boys has. However, one show is coming pretty darn ...

From a return trip to the Upside Down (after three years!) to more dragons on HBO, 2022 is looking to be a great year for sci-fi and fantasy fans. Here are 12 new and returning shows we’re excited to tune into in the new year. The Boys Season 3 – Spring/Summer It feels like forever since we’ve gotten new sightings of Hughie (Jack Quaid), Butcher (Karl Urban) and the rest of the anti-“supe” group. Thankfully, that’s set to change next year. No word on a release date yet, but spring or summer seems likely; we doubt Amazon would want it to compete with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4. We do know, however, that this season will be just as irreverent, raunchy and violent as the others (see: the showrunner’s promise to adapt “Herogasm”), and we wouldn’t have it any other way. While you wait, check out the...

Amitabh Bachchan's journey of five decades to become the Bollywood "Shahenshah" was not always a smooth ride. Indeed, his life is nothing short of brilliant biopic material. Early rejections were followed by a phase when he made his mark as a promising actor, which was soon overshadowed by the kind of superstardom Bollywood never saw before or after. When the superstar tried his hand at film entrepreneurship, he went bankrupt, only to bounce back and claim supremacy as a super brand and respectability as an icon.
The first reaction of the industry all those years ago, however, was far from welcoming. His tall and lanky frame, and the baritone of his voice, were deemed unsuitable for Bollywood's image of a perfect hero back then. These factors were pointed out as flaws, and reasons why he wouldn't be able to make it big in the industry.

Amitabh Bachchan?s birthday is on 11th October. He is turning 76 this year and recently received the Dadasaheb Phalke award for outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema. Here?s what TV actors have to say about him.
Zuber K Khan:
Firstly, as an outsider he has made his name in this industry all by himself which is a great thing. Initially, his films didn?t get success kept ongoing. He had to go through many ups and downs though he never lost the hope and today as we all know he is one of the biggest stars in the industry.

Hotshot Bollywood filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan, who has worked with the who's who of Bollywood for over two-and-a-half decades now, feels actresses today are looked after better than yesteryears' heroines.
"I feel today, everything is looked after much more, though I don't see any lack of hard work on the part of today's girls. They are as hardworking as the girls earlier. It is just that the girls earlier had to do a lot more. They did not have personal trainers, managers or vanity vans. They had to work harder in a sense," said Farah, who has worked with actresses spanning generations as director as well as choreographer, from Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Tabu and Malaika Arora to Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, besides heroes from Shah Rukh Khan to Hrithik Roshan to Tiger Shroff.

When we mention the name 'Sudhir' in Bollywood, chances are bright that you may not recall as his face was more popular than his name. The sad news is that he is no longer amongst us, as he set for a heavenly abode lately after battling a lung ailment. Sudhir, who original name was Bhagwandas Mulchand Luthria, but was fondly called 'Bhagu' by his colleagues. The list of films in which he played an integral part (mostly villain) includes Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Deewaar amongst others. He was very famous as one of the seven brothers in Big B's Satte Pe Satta as well as Srk's detective flick Baadshah. Bollywood Hungama prays that may the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace.

Every major actor and actress in Bollywood will at one stage attempt the double role. It is up there on every distinguished star’s curriculum vitae. There a countless examples Hum Dono (Dev Anand), Ram aur Shyam (Dilip Kumar), Seeta aur Geeta (Hema Malini), Apu Raja (Kamal Hassan), Chaalbaaz (Sri Devi), Kishan Kanhaiya (Anil Kapoor) and many many more. In addition to these we have Amitabh Bachchan’s own contributions to the double role genre, but to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema and its great tradition of double roles, we thought we would choose a slightly different film – Mahaan.
A triple role! Now that is is a completely different level and there is only one actor, the superstar of Indian cinema, who has truly attempted and achieved that – Amitabh Bachchan. Father, son and son – that was Mahaan. The father donned a beard, one son a moustache, the other clean shaven.

Omi Vaidya is changing it up again and this time he is going really out of his comfort zone for his role in Jodi Breakers. The comedy film, which opens today, stars R. Madhavan and Bipasha Basu, with Omi bringing in the funny as one of Madhavan’s friends. This role was a stretch for the actor because he is someone totally opposite to who he is, his character is totally into how he looks and wants to get girls kind of guy, but because of that it made him really want to play that part. Like all roles, Omi looks for what he can relate to and then totally becomes that character. In fact, so much so that sometimes he doesn’t even remember what he did in the scenes and many times is surprised when he is dubbing for the film. From what we have seen so far...

Of course, one of the biggest things that always gains the most attention is which actors and actresses will be chosen as the jodi for the film. For many fans it can be that pairing that will make or break any film more than the lack of script or direction. Let’s face it, 2011 hasn’t been Bollywood’s best year, and there’s much that can be done to make sure 2012 is better. Let’s take a look at what should be the industry’s top fifteen resolutions for the New Year.
1. Use “Hinglish” titles only when appropriate!
I wonder if it’s even fair to label Bombay’s film industry the “Hindi” film industry, because I’d say at least 50% of film titles in 2011 have been in English. Sometimes using English in a title works (i.e. The Dirty Picture, Tanu Weds Manu), but these Hinglish (many times, simply English) titles often elicit a “Wtf.” Titles like Always Kabhi Kabhi, Luv Ka The End and Love U Mr. Kalakaar are unintentionally hilarious (read: stupid) while generic English titles like Game and Ready are just plain lazy.
