10+ Moderate Violence and Scary Scenes. PG.
A few of the fight scenes, particularly the opening attack and the final fight scene.
The ending in which multiple people are threatened by a typhoon is a bit intense as well. This includes a scene where Miyagi's rival is trapped under a wooden beam and Miyagi is squatting over him with a raised hand. The trapped man is convinced that Miyagi wants to murder him when he is helpless. However, any child will likely know Miyagi would never do that and is merely breaking the beam in two with a single chop to free the trapped man.
A girl is held in a choking position with a knife to her throat.
