For the fourth year in a row, TikTok is putting together its own Super Bowl show. The short-form video app has announced that Gwen Stefani will headline this year’s TikTok Tailgate, which will also feature appearances from NFL players and top TikTokers.

John Oates has issued a social media statement calling for empathy, but avoiding the main issue of the moment: why he and longtime collaborator Daryl Hall are engaged in litigation.

The 75-year-old posted a Thanksgiving selfie Thursday, offering a message calling for worldwide understanding.

“During this time of communal reflection and connection with loved ones, let’s not forget those experiencing challenges globally,” Oates wrote. He asked for a “more compassionate and supportive world.”

The 77-year-old Hall is suing Oates and has been granted a restraining order against his longtime bandmate. Although the legal documents are sealed, reports indicate their dispute is over which songs Oates will be allowed to sing during his solo appearances, an apparent sore point for Hall, who was the chief songwriter on most of the duo’s hits.

The tranquil world of Hall & Oates was rocked this week by news that the longtime duo are in the midst of a nasty legal battle. The exact details are sealed, but we do know that Daryl Hall was granted a temporary restraining order against John Oates. There’s also a trademark dispute of some sort. (Representatives for both artists have not returned e-mails from Rolling Stone seeking comment.)

This is shocking on several levels. Hall & Oates are one of the few duos in music history that seemingly always got along.

Daryl Hall has filed a restraining order against his former music partner, John Oates, amid a private legal battle between the Hall & Oates stars.

Based on public court records, Hall filed an undisclosed complaint against Oates on November 16 and a motion for a temporary restraining order. The order is set to begin on November 30.

The lawsuit was confirmed by the Nashville Chancery Court, who declined further comment due to the confidentiality of the case.

Hall and Oates met in 1967 and formed their band three years later. They have released 18 studio albums since their 1972 debut, “Whole Oats” and had six No. 1 singles, including “Rich Girl” and “Man Eater.”

Last year, Hall took aim at Oates on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast.

“You think John Oates is my partner?” he asked Maher. “He’s my business partner. He’s not my creative partner.”

Washington, March 4: Gwen Stefani and Pink are in an apparent feud after Stefani rejected her former rival's invite for a playdate.

Sources told Radar Online that the pair's rivalry is "alive and well" and Pink had recently suggested that she and the 'Rich Girl' hitmaker bring their children together for a Beverly Hills playdate.

Insiders claimed that the 34-year-old singer was pretty upset when she got an email a couple of days later from Stefani saying that the playdate can't happen "not now and not ever".

Might there finally be a clear frontrunner on this season of The Voice? Because Cole Vosbury has had a pretty solid showing on the iTunes songs chart every week since viewer voting began (this week he's virtually neck and neck with Tessanne Chin, who's at the head of the class for the very first time). At the very least, he is the dark horse to keep an eye on – especially because he hails from three-time winner Blake Shelton's team. (Plus, there's the whole Duck Dynasty vibe he gives off with that broom-like beard.

The Top 6 contestants on The Voice performed two songs each last night – one chosen by their coaches and one chosen by themselves. Powerhouse Jacquie Lee of Team Christina Aguilera stole the show with her emotional performances.

The Voice Recap: Cole Vosbury Performances

Cole Vosbury, the last remaining contestant on Blake Shelton’s team, performed Hall & Oates’ “Rich Girl,” as chosen by his coach. Cee Lo Green, Vosbury’s former coach, told the singer he was still rooting for him, while Adam Levine praised his arrangement. Vosbury chose to sing James Morrison’s “A Better Man” and dedicated it to his first love. The emotional performance balanced out his fun performance from earlier.

Tessanne Chin Performances

Tessanne Chin, one of three contestants on Levine’s team, started with Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song.” While Chin was nervous because Marley is an important figure in her country, she slayed the song, as usual.

When it comes to warm fuzzies, good vibrations and positive feedback, The Voice has a coaching panel that’s second to none.

Nevertheless, if you listen verrrrry carefully, you can hear their withering subtext, their coded messages to the viewing public in favor of one contestant or in opposition to another.

Take Blake Shelton’s repeated mentions tonight that it’s not just about hitting big notes full-on (a subtle put-down of Jacquie Lee?) or Adam Levine essentially telling Matthew Schuler he peaked with his Top 12 week cover of “Hallelujah.”

Round 1: Cole Vosbury Reminds Everyone How ‘Great’ He Is

Cole Vosbury got things started on a high note with his rendition of “Rich Girl” — the Hall & Oates version, not the Gwen Stefani one — and the coaches couldn’t have been more thrilled with his performance. Even Adam Levine had to admit that Cole’s voice is, simply put, “great.”

And then there were six. As Season 5 of "The Voice" enters its final month, the remaining contestants take the stage on Monday (Dec. 2) to fight of America's vote, tackling two songs each. Just Dance 2014, the latest main entry in Ubisoft’s mega-popular party game series, is on track for its initial October 8th release on the Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions also slated for each console’s respective launch. New Orleans — For more than two decades, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has closed with a performance by the city's own Neville Brothers.

On Sunday, that tradition changed. Aaron Neville performed on a stage with his new band while young brass band frontman Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews closed the festival's biggest stage – where the Neville Brothers once held court the last day.

Andrews and his band, Orleans Avenue, entertained a jam-packed crowd as the festival ended its 2013 run. A sea of faces stretched to the track's back fence.

Neville said he views the closing lineup change as kind of a "passing of the guard.

"Trombone Slim, as I call him, will do a great job," Neville said of Andrews. "I remember when it was Professor Longhair out there and then we did it for a long time. It's time. Slim is a big musician and I'm proud of the way he's handled himself.
