Goofs
As the view shows when Jarrod is looking down the microscope, an image of an virus (Looks like the number Nine) is shown. At that period of time it was not possible to achieve that level of magnification, and was only visible through an electron microscope, as a virus is too small to be seen with a simple ordinary microscope.
