As the titular character of The Mandalorian, Din Djarin's story has been fleshed out across various Star Wars projects, which has allowed some nonsensical character elements to slip through the cracks. Even as one of Star Wars' best characters, Din Djarin still has several pieces to his story that either don't add up or simply have yet to be properly explained. With a backstory that's still heavily shrouded in mystery, it's no wonder that pieces of Din Djarin's character still make no sense, even after half a decade and counting.
It's important to note, however, that just about every major Star Wars character still has nonsensical elements in their own stories as well. These don't necessarily have to weigh down the character, but can ultimately be opportunities for further exploration, allowing these elements to be corrected over time. This is certainly the case with these 10 things about Din Djarin that make no sense,...

"This is the Way" has been used 23 times in The Mandalorian, establishing it as a staple catchphrase in the Star Wars universe. The phrase reflects the Mandalorian Creed and the comradery it brings among Mandalorians. It has been used in various situations, including settling disputes, acknowledging past hardships, and accepting one's fate with honor and commitment.
It is unbelievable how many times this one phrase has been said in Star Wars in the four years since its debut in The Mandalorian. There are a lot of catchphrases that have made it into Star Wars canon in the past 46 years. For example, "I've got a bad feeling about this" has been said so many times it would be difficult to count. However, with the introduction of The Mandalorian, a new catchphrase has made itself a staple.

Din Djarin's armor has evolved from a bland appearance to a shiny and minimalistic look that has become an icon in The Mandalorian and Star Wars. Each piece of armor that Din adds or replaces represents a milestone in his character's journey and reflects his relationships with other characters in the show. Din's armor tells a part of his story, from the first silver pauldron he received for the Grogu job to his new pistols.
Din Djarin's armor has gone through several subtle changes since its first appearance in The Mandalorian. As Pedro Pascal’s chromed character adventures throughout the galaxy far, far away with Grogu at his side, he inevitably finds himself upgrading his armor to meet each new challenge he faces. Compared to the brightly-colored appearance of other Mandalorians—such as Boba Fett or Sabine Wren—Din Djarin’s armor looked somewhat bland in the beginning of the series.

Earlier this year, the high-class shoe brand Jimmy Choo revealed their collaboration with the classic anime Sailor Moon. The shoe line revealed a series of shoes based on the anime's characters. Although this wasn't the first collaboration that Sailor Moon had with a third-party product, the Jimmy Choo-Sailor Moon crossover certainly wasn't the kind of merchandise most anime fans are used to.
The Jimmy Choo Sailor Moon tie-in was just the most recent of many collaborations between popular anime series and a big-named brand, including many other crossovers that fans found weird for one reason or another. When given some extra thought, some of these tie-ins actually make some sense. That said, others still baffle and amuse fans of their respective anime.

Din's deep care for Grogu is revealed in his question, "What did you do to it?", marking a turning point for his character. Din's ignorance towards the Force makes his farewell, "May the Force be with you," ironic and hilarious. Din's poetic description of the Mandalorians' scattered existence is a beautiful metaphor that sways Bo-Katan to help him.
As the titular character of the Star Wars global phenomenon The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin has plenty of iconic and memorable quotes. The first live-action Star Wars TV show has already ingrained itself in popular culture, with lines such as "This is the Way" and the entire concept of Din and his fellow Mandalorian tribe never removing their helmets being recognizable by all. Grogu himself has become quite a cultural icon, with "Baby Yoda" memes and merchandise being practically inescapable in today's world.

"The Sin" episode sets up the father-son bond between Din Djarin and Grogu and showcases heartfelt undertones. Din Djarin's actions went against the Bounty Hunters' Guild and betrayed Greef Karga, leading to consequences for the covert members. Despite the negative effects, Din Djarin's decision to save Grogu showed great honor and integrity, proving his strong moral compass.
The true meaning behind the name of The Mandalorian episode title of season 1, episode 3, is explained in a very surprising place. It's impossible to overstate how important The Mandalorian has been to Lucasfilm - and even to Disney+. The first season premiered alongside the launch of Disney's streaming service, and Grogu - originally known as Baby Yoda - became a household name.

Rome — Leading Italian film company Rai Cinema is producing new works by revered Russian auteurs Alexander Sokurov and Andrei Konchalovsky, as well as a slew of new titles from prominent Italian helmers Gabriele Salvatores and Gianni Amelio and younger standouts Jonas Carpignano and Susanna Nicchiarelli.
The production and distribution arm of pubcaster Rai has teamed up with the Sokurov Foundation on an unconventional historical work featuring rare archive footage of Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini and Churchill captured in non-official circumstances. These leaders will hold imaginary conversations during World War II that reveal their “human nature, their vision of the world” and their personal takes of wartime events, according to Rai Cinema promotional materials.
This latest work by the director who explored the corrupting effects of power in “Moloch” (1999), about Hitler, and “Taurus” (2000), about Lenin, and who more recently shot “Russian Ark” and “Francofonia,” is working-titled “La risata tra le lacrime” in Italian,...
