This week, Great American Family published their 2024 Great American Christmas movie schedule. However, Lori Loughlin and a couple of other actors who previously signed exclusive contacts with the network were nowhere in sight!
Here is what we know about these stars and where their fans may be seeing them this holiday season.

Great American Family has announced its 2024 Great American Christmas lineup. However, Lori Loughlin is nowhere to be found.
She is not starring in any of their holiday movies. Moreover, she is not even in the Brian Bird executive-produced A Little Women Christmas. This seemed like a natural opportunity to pair her up with the When Calls The Heart co-creator’s project.
In addition, her IMDb does not indicate that she has made any new movies. Her most recent role was in Curb Your Enthusiasm,...

Hallmark’s Passport To Love programming kicks off with For Love And Honey. This movie stars Andrew Walker and Margaret Clunie. This couple will “embark on a thrilling and bee-utiful adventure.” Yes, this is the “bee movie” that everyone is talking about.
Here is more about this new Passport To Love movie.

Hallmark is headed to Malta in the first movie in the Passport To Love series. What is this new movie about? According to the Hallmark synopsis, American archeologist Austen has arrived in Malta. He is there because he has a theory that could “guarantee his tenure.” Now, Austen must gather the evidence to prove his theory.
Meanwhile, Eva is a local. Eva runs the family’s apiary. Bees were her mother’s passion, and Eva is equally passionate about them.

Harrison Ford’s historic acting résumé offers plenty of unforgettable endings, but only one film pivots on the word “fluffy.”
In “Morning Glory,” a 2010 workplace comedy about a young producer (Rachel McAdams) who attempts to revitalize a ratings-starved morning show by hiring a legendary nightly news anchor (Ford), Becky is thinking about leaving the breakfast TV program she helped save. Viewership is climbing, the network is happy, and she’s fielding bigger and better offers from the likes of NBC. Her greatest challenge has been managing the ego of her star acquisition: Ford’s eight-time Peabody winner, Mike Pomeroy. The crabby hard-news reporter rebukes her suggestions (“You want me to do stories about Baked Alaska? After the career I’ve had?”), refuses to play nice with his co-anchor (a frog-kissing Diane Keaton), and generally makes her job (and everyone else’s) next to impossible.
But then he finds out she might leave,...

Documentary-packed streaming service CuriosityStream has a whole bunch of factual content — but none that really covers or caters to LGBTQ issues. On Tuesday, top executives at the John Hendricks-founded company vowed that will change.
“We know we can do more in that space and we will do a lot more,” Clint Stinchcomb (pictured above), CuriosityStream’s president and CEO, said when asked about the lack of LGBTQ-focused offerings during his company’s virtual Television Critics Association (TCA) Winter Press Tour panel.
“We definitely have people in the LGBT community that are in our content and produce our content. We do understand that there are a lot of areas that we want to increase the depth and breadth in,” Devin Emery, CuriosityStream chief product officer and executive vice president, added. “We are excited about the new resources that we have as a company. Wonya Lucas, who was named President & CEO, Crown Media Family Networks six months ago amid controversy, wasted no time addressing the cloud that has been hanging over the Hallmark cable networks for years.
“Before I arrived, we had begun to expand our brand inclusiveness in front of and behind the camera,” she said second into her opening remarks. “I’m proud of the progress this team is making to expand diversity in our programming and it is nothing short of seismic. The significant achievements made in the D&i space in 2020 laid the groundwork for us to branch out in our storytelling to approach the complexity of what it means to love and be a family in a more authentic, varied, and inclusive way. We will continue to strive to defy common stereotypes and give our characters more depth and dimension; in short, to more broadly represent the human condition.

The 2020 holiday season marked the first time Hallmark has included LGBTQ characters and storylines in their seasonal movies in a prominent way with “The Christmas House,” featuring Jonathan Bennett and Brad Harder as a gay couple looking to adopt.
But they were part of an ensemble cast.
On Thursday, Hallmark Channel executives were asked repeatedly by reporters during a virtual panel at the Television Critics Association press tour to give detailed answers about how the cable channel plans to expand on its representation in the coming season, including if the channel will have its first same-sex couple as the leads of a Christmas movie. And their answers were not direct enough for the journalists’ liking, who continued to pose questions on the topic during the 30-minute Q&a.
