When Grandpa teaches Carla and Oliver how to make paper airplanes, Oliver rushes and impatience keeps him grounded, until he learns that slowing down and staying calm is the fast track to success.

Dougie wants to play with the farm animals but he's too shy to introduce himself. Oliver helps, only to discover that the farm animals don't speak like they do, so Oliver and Dougie try to speak like them.

Oliver and his train-with-a-crane pal Train Tot #Two are trying to build a house of cards. But some other toys keep coming along and knocking it down. They move so fast that Oliver and #Two can't even see who they are.

When Carla gets her brothers to help with a card for Mom, Dad and Grandpa that she's started, things get messy. Everyone winds up covered in glue, glitter, paint and pompoms and Carla's heartbroken that their card isn't perfect - until she learns that it's the thought that counts.

Oliver tries to help the blocks build a tall tower but his shape causes it to fall. He sadly bows out to watch along with a block who's too little to participate but, as things turn out, the tower needs both Oliver and the little block after all.
