Actor, vegan food personality and entrepreneur Tabitha Brown is expanding her film and TV production business by teaming up with Made With Love Media, founded by “They Cloned Tyrone” producer Stephen “Dr.” Love.

Under the new pact, Made With Love Media will act as producing partner for Brown’s Do You Believe Enterprises, overseeing the brand’s expansion in film and TV production, as well as spearheading strategic initiatives for brand partnerships and working with the executive team to identify growth opportunities. The ultimate goal of the collaboration is to “ensure the company’s scalability and amplify the impact of Brown’s inspirational brand,” which is defined by its focus on love and positivity.

Love will serve as chief growth officer (Cgo), reuniting with Brown after he served as her manager from 2018-2019, securing more than 50 brand deals, including opportunities with Whole Foods and ABC network.

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever cast, Quinta Brunson and Keke Palmer are among the winners from the third night of the NAACP Image Awards‘ non-televised ceremonies.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which led all the nominees heading into the week’s ceremonies, took the award for best ensemble cast in a motion picture.

Abbott Elementary creator and star Brunson won the award for best breakthrough creative in television. Brunson has been collecting awards for her hit comedy, including an Emmy for best comedy series writing, a Golden Globe for best actress in a TV series — musical or comedy and a Television Critics Association Award for individual achievement in comedy. For best breakthrough creative in motion pictures, Ericka Nicole Malone (Remember Me: The Mahalia Jackson Story) took home the honor.

Exclusive: Disney General Entertainment has selected 13 participants for its 2023 Writing Program.

The one-year writing initiative, formerly known as the Disney|ABC Writing Program and the Walt Disney Television Writing Program, helps participants secure their first TV staff writer assignments on a Dge series. Participants also are offered mentorship, advanced professional development and access to Dge’s creative executives, producers, showrunners and program alumni.

“The Creative Talent Development & Inclusion team is proud to launch this extremely talented group of writers into the next phase of their career,” said Tim McNeal, senior vice president, Creative Talent Development & Inclusion (Ctdi). “The flagship Writing Program is one of the critical ways Ctdi connects creative talent to opportunities across Disney and continues to fuel our company’s staffing pipeline specifically for emerging, diverse TV writers.
