The Ren & Stimpy Show (1991) Creator and Animator John Kricfalusi was brought on early in the production as a conceptual artist. He submitted numerous character designs and sequences, none of which were used in the film, but are available for viewing on his blog.
Woody Harrelson's first, and only (as of 2021), animated film.
Features the voices of three regular actors from different Star Trek series. George Takei voices STEVE and played Hikaru Sulu in Star Trek (1966), Star Trek: The Animated Series (1973), and six Trek movies. Colm Meaney voices Captain Standish and played Miles O'Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) (as a recurring guest), and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993) (as a regular). Robert Beltran voices Chief Massasoit and played Chakotay in Star Trek: Voyager (1995).
The character Standish, who carries a match stick in his teeth for much of the movie, was originally animated with a small cigar instead. During production it was decided the cigar was a poor choice, so the match was substituted, requiring some modification to existing animation.
