Ok. I have to adit, but this is the Beyblade I grew up with. Yea yea, I was 13 when it came out, but I am 20 now, so that was a lomg time ago. I remeber being absoulutly obsessed with this show. I mean I had a CRAZY obession with it. I can talk on and on about how much I loved it but it will go on for too long. Anyway, this show consits of 3 season, 1 movie and 1 spin offf season that was cancelled.

The three season were Metal Fusion, Meatal Masters and Metal Fury. The movie was called Sol Blaze and spin off was shogun steel.

Season 1 was called Beyblade Metal Fusion and stared a teenage called Gingka Hagane as he traved the country to become the strongest blader. On his way, he meets freinds, forms rivials enimes and has to save the world and all. I must say, at the time, this was pretty much the first anime show I ever watched, (well second, as I watched Sonic X) and was truly inpressed with the visuals, soundtrack and story. They were much better than the tyson sereis which played the same 8 songs every episode for 3 seasons. This sow had an actaul soundtrack with a orchestra and all. I love the characters and beys and story. The show does pstart up ok, then get a bit slow in the middle, but towards the end of the season, it gets really epic, heck even violent. This is when the first national tornament will declare the worlds strongest blader.There are lots of laughs, crys, unexpected twists and just a great show over all. My only issue with season 1 was that it does go on for a bit too long. i mean 51 episode for a season is pretty long, but thats ok. It's all for character development. yea, 6/10.

Season 2 was called Beyblade Metal Masters and is a much better season, in my opinian. It is set a few months after the first and Gingka and the gang prepare for the WORLD Champianship were the the world isn't happy that the national tornament in Japan declared the worlds strongest blader instead of holding a worldchampians ship. So they hold a world champianship and ever blader around the world team up in groups to represent their country. This season was very similar to season 1 and 3 of the orignial Beyblade were they travel the world, but Metal Masters is a much better one. I really enjoyed this season, as the characters face new obstcles outside and within their team. The last 8 episodes, do get very interwsting, however, but it felt like season three, beyblade g revolotuion of the original series, where they have a champianship, it's over and for the last 8 or so episodes do something else. Only this time, the something else in Metal Masters is much bigger and badder than the gang has faced before. The ending of this season was in my opinian, the weakest of the show. They didn't really explain too much about the thign they were dealling with and a WHOLE BUCH of plot holes. but it's interesting. Season 2 deserves a 7/10.

Season 3 was called Beyblade Meal Fury and is the third and final season of the Metal series and is in my opinian the DARKEST of the lot. The first two season did feel similar to the original series in some way, but this season is totally original and out there. I mean, it's all about anceint beyblades, gods of destrucution and all that jazz. It sound a bit surreal when on paper, but exucutted really well. Season 1 and 2 were quite fun seasons. Season 2 was very enjoyable, but this season is very serious at times and very unexpected. Certain character get complete developments in this season and there is so much drama. I will admit that ths season felt a little bit like season 1 and a bit like season 2, where it started of slow, like season 1. But Gingk and the gang are travelling the world again, like in season 2, only this time, there are looking for the 9 legendary bladers who have beein chosen from destiny to defeat the ultamate evil Nemisis. Now, as much as I love this season, it has WAY TOO MANY PLOT HOLES inti that I like to think about. I mean, this new evil seems to have come from know where, but it is revealed why we haven't noticed throught the previous seasons. I did love how certain events of the past all tied up for this one season. and the second half of this season is the BEST throought the whole show. I mean, I was loving it so much. And the battles are show much better, coller and violent than the prevoious seasons and has a MCUH better ending that the original beyblades. This seaaon felt much similar to season1 were certaincharacters return from that season and the battle fight are simialr in parts. Is it the best season in the show. Yes and now. Yea, it's a great season, but there are WAYYY TO many plot holes for me to like. So, on that note, I willgive it a 7.5/10.

Overall, the Beyblade Metal Saga is a decet anime and pretty cool. :)

If you're one of the old beyblade lovers as a child it's best to stop watching the series after the Metal Fury season. Following this masterpieces, Metal Fusion/Masters/Fury, they ruined the row with a completely different story and characters.

I think the show has cool moments but is kinda cheesy at times

I used to love watching the original Beyblade as a kid, but never got round to watching the metal series. I had heard bad things about it...it's non-canon, has annoying characters, silly stories etc. It didn't make me want to actively watch it when it was on TV so I never did. However, I am going through a few cartoon series as a university student (mainly to wind down after a long day of revision) and thought it would be a good idea to include this.

This review encapsulates all 3 metal seasons (fusion, masters, fury). As soon as I started watching this, I quickly learned that this series is indeed non-canon. There is no reference to the original show and it seemed to want to completely reinvent the concept of Beyblade. This annoyed me from the start because it would have been quite simple to make this series be set in the future and make occasional nods to the original Bladebreakers. However, despite being a 'reinvention' the main characters of the series echo each of the main characters of the original show. Gingka reminded me of Tyson, Kyoya was like Kai etc.

Aside from Gingka's extremely annoyingly high-pitched voice, I liked the new characters. They each brought their unique personalities and back-stories to the table. However, I found Benkei incredibly annoying because of his idolisation of Kyoya. As controversial as it might sound, I also found Kenta somewhat grating because of his persistent clinginess. The final character worth mentioning for its ability to anger me was the crab-king himself (if you get round to watching this, you will know who I am referring to). All I can say is that the word "crabby" will make you angry for the rest of your life.

The story for the first 2 series were quite similar and plausible in the world of Beyblade. The revolved around various championship battles and someone trying to take over the world. They reminded me of the original series, with the addition of Ryuga, who is a enemy turned frenemy and I thought he was great. The latter series was a bit 'out there'. I find it odd when they refer to the ancient origins of Beyblades. Bladers trying to stop other Bladers from taking over the world with their bitbeasts. It just seems so odd, as if Beyblades are the most powerful weapon in the world. I mean, even the security guards have Beyblades for weapons! It was certainly the weakest of the 3 series but it was still enjoyable to watch (maybe because it was also shorter).

The final thing I want to touch on is the Beyblades themselves. They are completely different from the originals, with new parts, looks and even bitbeasts. I do like them but for very different reasons from the old ones. The original Beyblades were cool because of how varied they could look and how fierce they could be. These new ones looked quite sleek and modern. What I didn't like was they tried to make the bitbeasts look cooler by giving them an almost graffiti-like artwork. I also thought most of the Beyblades looked the same and there was little in the way of variety.

All in all, this series is OK. If you have seen the original series and want something else to watch this is something you could turn to. I think the creators missed on a few tricks that could have made this series better, but they tried to hard to be cool. It was still enjoyable to watch as an adult, just not as fun.

I used to watch this show as a kid but after looking back at it, I realize how dull and lifeless the show is. Gingka had zero character development in the show and didnt improve as a character. Masamune didn't have a personality other than the #1 blader. The show had pretty decent effects but the characters were poorly written. 4/10 on the storyline. It was so boring. Beyblade Burst - Turbo was easily better but the seasons after that was just a mess. Were the creators even trying? Or are they trying to mess up my childhood with rubbish they call an anime? Metal series is carried by nostalgia the show ain't even that good. The fandom is equally as bad as the show. "gingka solos burst"

It's the best Beyblade series. The best designs are best compared to other series.Sadly it ended after Shogun steel ,would have liked it.

10/10 easily the best series in beyblade. Also Ryuga alone is the best character in TV history. Takafumi's work really is, a masterpiece. #Canceburst #MFBcomeback.

Great story and inspirational character RAYUGA.

I think L-drago has to be more powerful after first season. He looks more powerful in first season than others but still rayuga is motivational character because of his hardwork and practice shown in last season.

Rayuga is the best character in this franchise and he is so Motivating. Practise to make ourselves strong and master the skills this is what a anime should be like. I loved it with it's visuals and story. The first beyblade was good but this is great and I loved watching this series.

I've been watching Beyblade since I was a kid... And I thought to watch it to remember my memories of my favorite anime from when I was a kid... Today I just finished Metal Fusion and I have to say it was awesome... The story from the beginning was great really, the only negative thing about Beyblade is the voice actors and you'll realise it when you watch the anime in English... All the characters sound great in other languages except English for example Gingka's voice in English language sounds very childish, and the reason why I say that is because I watch the show in Greek, but I also watched some episodes in English, and I really feel sorry for those who watch it in English with those voice actors...

After watching this as a child in elementary school I randomly came across this show on you tube. At first I just watched a few random clips,got instant nostalgia attack and decided to watch the whole show again. I can't decide what's better,story,character development or animation (pretty advanced for 2007). Whole Beyblade mechanics is preety fun and interesting. Story is also pretty interesting especially the last part (Metal Fury). Characters are relatable and fun,Ryuga being my personal favourite.

Story has a lot of good tournament runs,redemption arcs,savage and wholesome moments. Long story short,great show,worthy to watch.
