To celebrate the release of 2015’s WWE Money In The Bank event on DVD and Blu-ray, we’ve teamed up with WWE to offer you the chance to win one of three Blu-ray copies.
“One of WWE’s most anticipated and hard-hitting pay-per-views of 2015. The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar settle the score once and for all when they step inside the 20ft Hell in a Cell cage – the most unforgiving and demonic structure in WWE history. Plus Seth Rollins defends his WWE Championship against Kane and John Cena puts his U.S. title on the line against a mystery opponent!”
As well as the Hell in a Cell, World Heavyweight Championship, and United States matches, this was the event that saw Kevin Owens defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ryback; Alberto Del Rio make the most shocking of returns; The Dudley Boyz go in search of their 10th WWE Tag Team...

The WWE Raw viewership numbers are in for this week and the news is good because the show received its highest number of viewers since June 15.
The three hour average was 3,894,000 viewers. The first hour did 3.87 million viewers, the second hour did 3.99 million viewers and the third hour did 3.83 million viewers. The official rating is not out yet.
That’s a slight upgrade from the 3.72 million viewers from last week’s Raw that followed SummerSlam, which was considered a disappointment following that big Undertaker/Lesnar match. The June 15 Raw, which followed WWE Money in the Bank, did 4.11 million viewers, which was the highest since the March 30 episode after WrestleMania.
Who gets the credit for this week’s better numbers? Sting should get part of it. WWE advertised Sting as the opening part of the show a few days in advance. They also advertised four matches, which is more than the usual,...

To celebrate the release of this year’s WWE Money In The Bank event on DVD and Blu-ray, we’ve teamed up with WWE to offer you the chance to win one of five DVD copies.
This was the sixth annual event of what is one of, if not the most extreme night of the WWE calendar. The show was an emotional one as it took place only a short few days after the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, meaning there are plenty of tributes to the American Dream throughout!
Matches including the likes of Cena vs Owens, Ambrose vs Rollins, Nikki Bella vs Paige, and the customary Mitb contract ladder match took centre stage and made for a very entertaining night.

2015’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view has come and gone, and it’s safe to say from passionate fan response that it wasn’t one for the ages: the high incidence of bulls*** finishes and weirdly unsatisfying victories made this one easy to dislike, even if John Cena and Kevin Owens unarguably stole the show with their killer slug-fest.
The beauty of even mediocre WWE shows, of course, is that there’s always a ton of added value in terms of fan interaction, botches and other hilarity which proves either divertingly bizarre or flat-out hilarious. Money in the Bank certainly served that up in spades, be it the smarky Columbus, Ohio crowd (who showed up with some of the best signs all year), a typically outrageously entertaining New Day promo, or simply a sick spot during the show’s flagship match itself.

The 2015 edition of WWE Money in the Bank is days away and fans have begun predicting winners for each contest. Some picks seem more obvious than others. Being predictable isn’t always a bad thing as long as there is a good story to tell.
Outside of the contract ladder match, the major stories leading into this event involve the WWE Heavyweight Championship and the United States Championship. Seth Rollins holds the top prize in the company but doesn’t have the physical title in his possession. John Cena is looking to finally get a win against the WWE newbie Kevin Owens with his title on the line. Both champs want to walk away from the event with their titles still in their rightful possession but they could end up as losers.
In this article every match will by analysed to figure out who should be the loser...

Sunday night’s WWE Money in the Bank showcase match will feature seven WWE superstars vying for the coveted briefcase and a guaranteed shot at the WWE Title any time within the next year.
There are seven men in the match and in today’s poll we’re wondering who you think might win.
Here are the choices.
Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.
Roman Reigns – He’s the clear favourite in the match since he won the Royal Rumble this year, he headlined WrestleMania and has been featured heavily all year. Sometimes the favorite doesn’t always win, though, because a case can be made that Reigns doesn’t need this victory. Money in the Bank has had some upsets historically, so the obvious choice may not be the right one.
Randy Orton – As a former winner,...

One of the more interesting of WWE’s annual b-shows, Money in the Bank is the night of the year where a younger talent has the chance to grab the contract that sets them up for a built-in storyline and eventual chance at winning the WWE World Title. Here, there are two ladder matches, one for the contract and one for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Daniel Bryan, who was forced to relinquish his WWE World Title due to a neck injury, appeared on the pre-show/kick-off show and told the world that he was still suffering effects of his injury and may still require further surgery, Bryan then promised he would be back as soon as he could and win back the WWE World Title. Time will tell, but I have a sinking feeling that Bryan’s time as “the guy” are behind us.
So, with a card...

WWE Money In The Bank was an entertaining show, a night in which WWE made various booking moves to set the scene for their summer storylines. The biggest development was John Cena winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title, his 15th major championship to date. The commentary instantly referred to him as the greatest WWE superstar ever, a line likely fed from Vince McMahon backstage, a line Vince probably believes. You’d surely expect the 37 year old Cena to have at least another couple of title reigns in the next two years, which would beat Nature Boy Ric Flair’s vaunted 16 world title reign record.
The reason for the Cena win was to facilitate a summer feud between himself and Brock Lesnar. The Beast made clear at the start of the year that he was going after the WWE world title, he is booked for SummerSlam and WWE have...

Money In The Bank 2014 is in the books, and it was a lackluster show to say the least. The problem with stacking so many of your top stars in one or two matches is that you’re forced to fill out the rest of the card with bland matchups, and when you’ve done a poor job developing your midcard talent, that can lead to a dull show.
With six top guys in the briefcase match and another eight in the championship contest, we were left with the likes of Adam Rose, Damien Sand…er, Paul Revere and a second divas contest to “entertain” us. There were a few hits here and there, but an awful lot of misses dragged down the show.
That being said, a couple of matches really delivered, with one being exceptional, so it wasn’t a total write-off. Some may have their complaints...

The Money In The Bank 2014 pay per view is live this Sunday from Boston, with a range of attractive matches on the card. In many ways we have to congratulate WWE, they had a big negative to deal with when they lost Daniel Bryan to injury, but have since made their show stronger by vacating the WWE Title and putting it on the line this weekend. In addition to the 8 man WWE title ladder match, we also have a traditional Mitb 7 man match for the briefcase. That makes this show must see, it feels like we are getting two very exciting matches for the price of one. The main event title ladder match in particular is promising, it’s rammed full with major stars, with a lot of potential directions WWE could go in. That sort of intrigue on who the new Champion will be is the kind...

It’s the pay-per-view WWE fans clamour for more than an ice cream on a scorching hot summer’s day – and WWE Money in the Bank is set to be a mouthwatering, blockbusting and hugely exciting show.
With more twists and turns that a death-defying rollercoaster, the show can often provide us with some unbelievable drama. There is always the potential for a star marooned in the middle of the card to break out and become the next big thing – as we’ve seen so often in the past with men like Dolph Ziggler. As well as that, the unique backdrop of the ladder match provides high-risk wrestling like at no other point in the WWE calendar, with some of the company’s daredevil stars finding their niche at Money in the Bank.

Last night’s WWE Smackdown taping in Pittsburgh unfortunately had some bad news. The current Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett (aka Wade Barrett) suffered a shoulder injury that is so severe that it has put his participation in Sunday’s Money In The Bank event in serious doubt. He was scheduled to take part in the Money in the Bank contract ladder match.
Late on Tuesday night, an update was provided by WWE.com, who talked to WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann about the injury: “Barrett sustained an injury to his right shoulder when he was thrown into the barricade by Jack Swagger. After Barrett felt an immediate pain and a pop we brought him back to the training room and the exam showed a separated shoulder. We’re going to do some additional testing this week and then sit down with him and talk about options for treatment for this injury.

With less than a week to go until WWE Money in the Bank 2014 on PPV, we head into the “go-home” edition of Raw for June, the final stretch before the big show happens. With two separate ladder matches announced for the PPV, one for the vacant WWE World Title and the other for the Money in the Bank Contract Briefcase, we should hopefully find out the other entrants who will compete alongside Seth Rollins in the Contract ladder match.
I mentioned in recent weeks how stale the WWE product has become again, and with Daniel Bryan on the injured list it only spells further stagnancy if WWE refuse to do something different at the upcoming PPV show. Let’s see if things feel different tonight, or if we get the same old episode of Raw, with the same old context-less matches between guys who should be kept apart until the big matches.

This Sunday is WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, so they used this week’s Raw to announce more matches for Raw. We only knew two of them officially going into the show.
The main event is the Ladder Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is set with what we thought was seven men vying for the vacated title except there is one more. The men in that match are Sheamus, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio. Kane destroyed a bunch of the guy at the end of Raw, so he’s the 8th man in the match as named by Triple H.
Cena’s considered the favorite, but when isn’t Cena the favorite? He usually is. Reigns stood tall at the end of Raw after a Spear on Kane, so they are seriously hinting that it might be him.

This year’s Money in the Bank PPV will be the fifth year that WWE has run a PPV based off the Money in the Bank ladder match. From 2005 to 2010 the match was done at WrestleMania, but it became such a hit that WWE felt the need to build an entire show around the match concept.
It was a smart move by WWE because Money in the Bank has proven to be one of WWE’s best PPVs of the year. It probably trails only WrestleMania, Royal Rumble and SummerSlam in terms of importance. Survivor Series may be older, but it’s not a big deal anymore. Money in the Bank is.

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs in a ladder match with seven participants. Headed into Raw we knew that Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Cesaro and Bray Wyatt were in the match. There were two spots left.
There was a battle royal for entry into the ladder match. Roman Reigns wasn’t originally part of it, but he convinced Vickie Guerrero to give him a spot in the match. He got in the match (the only with a televised entrance) and of course he won it, last eliminating Rusev.

Bray Wyatt has qualified to feature in the Money In The Bank WWE Title Ladder Match, besting Dean Ambrose in a qualifier match at the June 10th SmackDown tapings.
We can also report that John Cena is scheduled to be added to the title match at some point, according to an update at F4wonline. That would make the line up to six big stars fighting for the title on June 29th, Cesaro vs Sheamus vs Orton vs Del Rio vs Cena vs Wyatt. Apparently WWE have already decided on who will be the new champion, and the company are also mulling over a second ladder match for the traditional Mitb briefcase title shot.
An argument could be made that Money In The Bank 2014 is in fact now stronger from Daniel Bryan’s absence. His scheduled match against Kane was hardly a big sell to begin with. Instead...

The WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view on June 29th is changing all the time. Since Daniel Bryan isn’t going to be wrestling at the show due to his neck injury, WWE announced a multi-man ladder match for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
But what about the traditional Mitb ladder match for a coveted briefcase? It wasn’t even addressed on Raw. However, a report from F4WOnline notes that it’s expected that the ladder match for the briefcase will take place at the same event.
Apparently WWE was looking at announcing the second ladder match on Raw this week, but that didn’t happen. Why not? The show is three hours long. They should be able to find time in a show filled with a bunch of three minute matches that mean nothing and recaps of things we have already seen over and over.

This week’s Raw featured a major announcement as Stephanie McMahon and Triple H announced that Daniel Bryan is no longer the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Bryan wasn’t even on Raw, but the two World Titles he was carrying around were hanging from the rafters during the entire Raw broadcast.
It was announced on Raw that at Money in the Bank there would be a Ladder Match for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship. There was no indication of how many people would be in the match, but we do know four names that are in for sure. Here are the qualifiers so far:
Alberto Del Rio – He beat Dolph Ziggler in a match on last week’s Raw, so he’s in. It would be a big surprise if he won the ladder match. He didn’t have a match at Payback and was absent at Raw.

Seth Rollins is pencilled in to face Dean Ambrose in a one-on-one match at Money In The Bank, the latest Figure Four Weekly Newsletter reveals.
Further to this, WWE plans to book Rollins vs Roman Reigns for July’s Battleground pay per view, which would lead in to the long term plan of Reigns vs Triple H at SummerSlam. On paper it certainly sounds like smart booking, it extends the current top WWE feuds and the ultra-reliable Rollins will be able to deliver excellent matches against both Ambrose and Reigns.
As an athlete you have to say Rollins really has been one of WWE’s very best workers this year. He was a smart choice for Evolution’s new heel role, he’ll be able to make Reigns look good in the ring, which will help get over WWE’s long term plan of Reigns as the new John Cena.
Seth Rollins is pencilled in to face Dean Ambrose in a one-on-one match at Money In The Bank, the latest Figure Four Weekly Newsletter reveals.

Money in the Bank is coming up on June 29th in Boston, Massachusetts this year and the hype is already starting to form. With Daniel Bryan’s injury coming at this time, he is slated to return around the time the pay-per-view will hit.
Over the years, it has become a yearly spectacle that highlights World Wrestling Entertainment’s young stars with high-flying action, dangerous stunts and bone-chilling drama.
Men like Jeff Hardy, Daniel Bryan, Cm Punk, Shelton Benjamin, Kofi Kingston, Mvp and Chris Jericho sacrificed their bodies to put on a show for the fans that they will never forget.
Moments will stand the test of time like when Sheamus powerbombed Sin Cara through a ladder during the Smackdown Money in the Bank ladder match in 2011. Injuries do occur frequently throughout the match, and sometimes WWE will use it as a storyline during the match.

Stephanie McMahon has made a final ruling on the WWE title situation, announcing on Raw that Daniel Bryan must defend the belt at Money In The Bank.
She added that Bryan’s defence of the title will be in a ‘stretcher match’ against the demon Kane. Further to this, if Bryan isn’t fit enough to compete, she will strip him of the title and make the Money In The Bank ladder match for the Championship.
This was a pretty good booking move from WWE. It means that we finally have clarification on the WWE title situation, making Money In The Bank seem a far more valuable card than Payback was. Whether it’s Bryan defending the title or the excitement of the belt in the ladder match, we are definitely going to see the championship on the line somewhere.

One of the most anticipated nights on the WWE Calendar, Money In The Bank. A chance for a Superstar to win a briefcase containing a contract granting them a championship match anytime & anywhere they want. With nearly a 100% record when it comes to those who have won the briefcase becoming champion, this event will very much shape the course of the WWE for the future.
Money in the Bank is a great concept for a pay per view and one of the year’s numerous events that I, and many wrestling fans, look forward to. There are two ladder matches featuring an array of performers, and they must climb the ladder, grab a briefcase and gain a championship shot at any time they choose. This allows a variety of superstars to get a push into the main event picture where they might not have previously been.

We are a week removed from the 2013 WWE Money In The Bank PPV, and we are now well on our way towards WWE’s next major PPV, SummerSlam. This event is considered one of the Big 4 PPV events of the year; so, getting this show right is very, very important. Here are 5 things we learned on this week’s Raw broadcast that helped to propel us towards the SummerSlam PPV:
5. Cm Punk vs. Brock Lesnar at Summerslam 2013: It’s On!
The Best In The World challenges The Beast Incarnate, and The Beast accepts! On behalf of his client Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman appeared via satellite to accept Cm Punk’s challenge for SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar. Lesnar himself was notably absent from last night’s telecast, but that’s just fine considering the lasting effect he’s had from his brutal exchange with Punk last week.

WWE’s annual pay-per-view event, Money in the Bank is fast approaching. After starting in 2005, Money in the Bank was a hit among the audiences, as a superstar could use his contract, which was locked in the briefcase, to challenge the world champion of his choice, anytime and anywhere. Til date, only one superstar has lost his cash-in, with that being none other than the golden boy of the WWE himself, John Cena. Otherwise, the Money in the Bank guarantees you a World Championship run. The process is simple: climb a ladder, and unhook the briefcase from the top to retrieve your contract for the championship match. However, it’s easier said than done, and multiple superstars have failed trying to retrieve the prized possession.

It’s that time of year again when ladders and bodies break and scar for an opportunity at a World/WWE Championship match. This years’ edition is live from the passionate wrestling city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and takes place Sunday night on July 14th.
Over the course of this article we will analyze the 4 Championship matches, 2 Ladder Matches, and everything in between seeking out multiple outcomes whilst homing on one most logical and pleasing. Whether you are betting for money or gambling casually, or just want to read some conjecture I believe my predictions will be interesting to read. If nothing else we can all laugh at myself if I’m completely wrong.
(C) Curtis Axel vs. The Miz- Intercontinental Championship
Battling for the Ic Championship even. there still isn’t much too actually say about this match. We know that Curtis Axel is the new “Heyman Guy” with the...

WWE Money in the Bank is always a big PPV- so much so that it could be argued that it has taken over Survivor Series’ spot as one of the ‘Big 4′ that also include Summerslam, Royal Rumble and, of course Wrestlemania. Part of the reason for this is that so much of importance is decided during the PPV. Not only are there the usual world title matches, but we also get to see an idea of who may be the future World Champions of the company in the coming year- something that everyone gets excited about as the Iwc can look at who is getting anointed with the next big push.
But the big match in this year’s Mitb is not one of the ladder matches, nor one of the World Title Matches, it is actually a bout that has no title or contract on the line.
The most important match on the card,...

WWE announced last night that Rob Van Dam will be returning to the company at the forthcoming WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
You can see the video promo for his return that aired during last night’s PPV above.
As one of Rvd’s biggest fans, I’m enthralled to see him back in the WWE, where he belongs. While his Tna run might not have been great, he is still a fantastic performer and whilst Rob Van Dam might not be as athletic as he was before or he might not he as great, he still has so much to give the company.
The following are a few ideas as to what Rob Van Dam will do at Money in the Bank:

WWE Money in the Bank PPV results from the Us Airways Center, in Phoenix, Arizona.
The pre-show for the PPV begins with Zack Ryder backstage with Santino Marella. Damien Sandow walks in and says he will win the World Heavyweight Title contract in the Money in the Bank ladder match ladder tonight.
a) WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston & R-Truth defeated Hunico & Camacho in a non-title match. Truth dropped Camacho on his head for the pinfall.
Josh Matthews talks to Chris Jericho backstage who says he will be considered The Greatest of All Time after his performance in the Money in the Bank match tonight.
Daniel Bryan is interviewed backstage and asked about the wedding proposals on Raw. Bryan says Aj is his future wife, not his ex-girlfriend and that she is an honest and caring woman. He will emerge tonight with the WWE Title and with Aj’s heart.

Tonight’s WWE Raw SuperShow comes from Denver, Colorado and will find Zack Ryder as the Special Guest General Manager after his Battle Royal win on last week’s SmackDown. With Ryder as the Special Guest General Manager, we can probably expect him to get some revenge on Eve Torres for how she treated him earlier this year and there’s a good chance he will add himself into SmackDown’s Money in the Bank World Title Contract Ladder match.
Raw tonight is also the go-home Raw show for WWE Money in the Bank and we can probably expect the Cm Punk, Daniel Bryan and Aj Lee saga to dominate the screen time. We expect that Aj will likely end up going through a table tonight, a reverse of Bryan and Punk going through the table last week.

Last night’s WWE Raw SuperShow from Laredo, Texas. Michael Cole hypes that this is episode 997 of Raw and that tonight Teddy Long is the temporary General Manager and has set the main event as Cm Punk & John Cena vs Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho.
The Money in the Bank briefcase hangs above the ring as John Cena’s music hits.
He comes out to talk about last week. He thanked Chris Jericho and thanked Big Show. Jericho was right that Cena needed to prepare for Money in the Bank and that anything can happen in that match environment. Cena says Big Show gave him a crash course in education when he attacked him last week. Cena says he understands now what will happen at Money in the Bank. He says two things will happen – Big Show will lose and Cena will grab the contract, cash it in and become the next WWE Champion.

Tonight’s WWE Raw SuperShow comes from Laredo, Texas and the big storyline being hyped is Brock Lesnar’s answer to Triple H’s challenge for a match at WWE SummerSlam 2012. Brock won’t be on tonight’s show, instead it will likely be a pre-recorded message from Lesnar and/or his legal advisor Paul Heyman. Lesnar, who has a limited dates contract with the WWE, will return at the 1,o00th Raw episode and not before. Triple H is also not advertised for an appearance tonight.
Teddy Long is this week’s temporary manager of Raw and SmackDown, leading into the appointment of a full time replacement for John Laurinaitis on the 1,000th Raw. As Long is a face character, we can expect some fair contests tonight and probably another Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler match to determine the number 1 contendership to Sheamus’ World Title at WWE No Way Out.

During last night’s SmackDown tapings in Evansville, Indiana it was announced that Aj Lee would be the special guest referee for the WWE Title match between Cm Punk and Daniel Bryan at the forthcoming WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
On this week’s SmackDown (spoilers ahead), Daniel Bryan came out during a WWE Divas Title match between Layla and Aj Lee and distracted his former girlfriend which caused her to lose the match. Bryan then got on the mic and said he was sick of this kind of thing happening to him and that he wanted Aj banned from ringside for his WWE title shot at WWE Money in the Bank. SmackDown General Manager for the night Vickie Guerrero instead declared that Aj would be the guest referee for the match!
The current card for Money in the Bank is shaping up like this;

John Cena has promised to make a huge announcement on tonight’s WWE Raw SuperShow from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He tweeted earlier today;
“In Fort Wayne for #Raw tonight I have an announcement that will make history! Make sure to watch #Raw”
The tease is an interesting one as Cena has no clear direction in WWE storylines right now. After defeating Big Show in the Steel Cage Match at WWE No Way Out last week that ended his current feud with John Laurinaitis, the Raw General Manager was then fired by Vince McMahon. His final farewell took place on last week’s Raw, though Cena has still been wrestling Laurinaitis, Tensai and The Big Show in handicap matches on the weekend house shows. Unless WWE come up with some cock and bull story to get Laurinaitis back on television then Cena will need to move on to a fresh angle tonight.

Current plans for WWE SummerSlam 2012 are for Cm Punk and The Big Show to face off in a WWE Championship match, according to F4WOnline.com. We would expect Punk to be the victor in the current feud with Daniel Bryan and retain his gold at WWE No Way Out in the Punk vs Bryan vs Kane triple threat match, with Bryan then moving on to feud with Kane over the summer, with Aj Lee also in the mix.
John Laurinaitis will likely also be involved in the Punk vs. Show feud and as we saw this week on Raw there was a re-ignition of the Punk/Laurinaitis problems with the unveiling of the WWE 13 video game front cover.
Punk and The Big Show previously fought at SummerSlam 2010 when Show defeated Punk, Joseph Mercury and Luke Gallows in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match.
Also previously spoken about for WWE SummerSlam were a Triple H vs.
