Maybe due to delay or payment hassle, one does not know reason, but clearly Shashi Kapoor left the film with climax and some scenes pending and hence was killed off using body double. Even in his forced death a bad Close Up of smiling face photo is used to show him in coffin. Neither did he complete his role, nor dubbed for the film. In some scenes Raj Babbar dubbed his voice in other a dubbing artist.
