I saw "Before Midnight" first on a plane and got hooked. Later I watched "Before Sunrise" and "Before Sunset", then watched "Before Midnight" again. You do not need to watch the movies in order, but do it if you can. I intend to do the cycle again myself . . . maybe every nine years.
