The biggest flaw in this movie was the constant use of the F cuss word and loose morals. I don't know if the first movie was this bad or not, I must have watched an edited version bc I don't remember this kind of language being used or so much talk about sex. That part of Double iSmart was very difficult to sit through. I really liked the first movie, Ismart Shankar, it was a little rough around the edges morally, but not completely offensive like this movie. And why do all Indian movies have to be so violent?! That was awful to sit through. The movie had multiple plot holes, which I've come to expect from Indian movies. The guy who played the villain, Sanjay Dutt, is way too old to play this part. He was painful to watch. Ram Pothineni was amazing, seriously. I love the iSmart character that he created. I'm a huge fan of his past movies. His new stuff seems to be a bit edgy tho and I really like clean movies. I was really annoyed that there was no clear connection between iSmart Shankar and Dbl iSmart, but that goes back to those famous Indian movie plot holes. I kind of expected that. And I've seen several Indian movies where the sequel is just another story using the same characters but no clear correlation between the two plots whatsoever. I sat through this movie at the theater and didn't get up and leave, I loved every second Ram was on screen (he's just too beautiful to ignore), the songs weren't that great (again, too immoral for my tastes), and the story was too much of a stretch. I wouldn't watch it again and I wish I had waited for it to come out on streaming so I could have fast forwarded through all of the violence and lewd music and maybe the F word would have been edited out.

The film is a complete disappointment, feeling like a recycled version of their own previous work. It's a waste of both money and time don't bother watching it in theaters or even on OTT platforms. Save yourself the effort and avoid this film altogether.
The film is a major letdown, essentially a lazy copy of their own previous work. The plot lacks originality and fails to engage, making it a waste of both money and time. Avoid watching it in theaters or on OTT platforms; it's not worth the effort. The storyline is predictable, the acting uninspired, and the overall experience disappointing. Expecting a nice little thriller judging by the summary of the movie. What I got was terrible acting which was cringeworthy at times, a ridiculous plot, loud and obnoxious music and on top of that the absolutely irritating character Boka.
Always hard to understand how some movies get greenlit anyways.
Fightscenes are so OTT (not every punch or kick makes the badguy swirl in mid-air) and the bad guys laughable.
I've seen some bad movies in my time but this is just next level. Avoid at all cost and treat yourself to a nice dinner instead. Hope this and other reviews will be enough warning for you!

Bad storyline, bad direction, no meaning, over actions, cringe comedy which is not funny, too loud music. The team should watch the movies with their families before releasing it to public. Only then they'll understand how bad the movie is.
Indian directors make high impact on immature public mindset. By watching movies like this people think it's completely normal to look at women as objects. Everyone knows how much puri jaganath is obsessed with women, s*x and mafia. It's high time his movies should get banned.
When incidents against women occur people tend to blame government for weak punishments. No one talks about the impact of such movies on people. Actively or passively movies like this are responsible for such actions.
Every scene contains atleast one dialogue, hand action, gestures that objectify women. I wonder how movies like this gets license to showcase for public.

This movie falls short in several areas, starting with its plot and characters, which come across as silly and poorly developed. There's no proper connection to the prequel, making it feel disjointed for fans who were expecting continuity. The narration is loud and grating, which only adds to the overall unpleasant experience. Much of the film is uninteresting and boring, with the few moments that try to stand out instead coming off as cringe-worthy.
Ram, as expected, gives his best performance. He does what he can with the material he's given, but even his efforts can't lift the movie out of mediocrity. Sanjay Dutt is unfortunately underutilized and doesn't get the opportunity to showcase his abilities. Kavya Thapar brings some visual appeal to the film, but her role lacks depth. Ali's comedy, which might have been a saving grace, ends up being more irritating than entertaining.
The music fails to leave a lasting impression, and the direction feels outdated, lacking the freshness or creativity needed to engage a modern audience. Given all these factors, this movie is not one I would recommend. It's better to skip this one and look for something more worthwhile.

Horrible movie from puri, movie is really bad and ali's character is so degraded . Pure 2 hours of torture. Over all very bad experience watching this movie. Absolutely not recommended to watch with family. No proper screen play and there is no logic and meaning in the story. Extreme vulgar vocabulary used in the movie which is not at all comfortable. Waste of time. Movies are for relaxation and this movie do not serve the purpose at at metre. Sanjay dutt is an excellent actor from bollywood but I feel he is not utilized as per his caliber. There is complete absence of audio management throughout the film.

I can't even begin to describe how disappointing this movie is. The Telugu audience has evolved to appreciate quality cinema, regardless of budget, and often turns smaller films into hits. However, it seems like the directors and actors haven't updated their approach to match the changing tastes of the audience.
The misogynistic traits of the lead character, along with Ali's irritating performance, were unbearable. The glorification of women objectification was absolutely appalling.
Throughout the movie, I felt like walking out of the theater. If I had watched it at home, I would have sped through it just to avoid the unpleasant experience.
As a movie enthusiast, I usually make it a point to sit through a film, no matter how bad it is. But this one stands among the worst I've seen. Excessive action, vulgar dialogues, indecent gestures, and overacting never makes a movie good.

I have always admired Puri's movies. This movie though changes all that. The guy was known for his originality and his unique creative story telling. This movie has very average screenplay, story and character. The excessive use of F words by almost all the characters is pretty shocking. It looks like the censor board slept through the movie and didn't catch all the cuss words. The final fight around the statue of lord Shiva was totally not required. It looks and feels like an insult to the statue of god. Ram's acting is good. He pulls of a very good accent required by the protagonist. As others have amply pointed out, the movie just doesn't click. Hope Puri comes back with a better movie next time and not this Halwa.

I don't know how I'm still alive after watching this movie. It's such a terrible film, completely illogical. The story is awful and the direction is even worse. The movie is never serious at any point, and the action scenes are so illogical that I couldn't help but laugh at them. What's even worse is that this is supposed to be a sequel to the 2019 movie "iSmart Shankar," where Shankar had Arun's (movie character) memory in his brain, but there's no mention of that memory in this movie. The movie includes a forced comedy character just to add some unnecessary humor. It's a complete WASTE OF TIME that I've already wasted.... The only good thing about the movie is Sanjay Dutt, and that's it.

Unsure if Puri himself reads this review. I have always admired Puri for his dialogues and story telling. However, this movie was a hard watch. Glad that I skimmed it through on Amazon prime. Second half is painful. I don't know why they introduced Pragathi as old pochamma. The character lacks depth. There is no detail in character sketching and the plot is wafer thin. Ali's comedy is funny but he uses derogatory language often. Ram is too loud and he often uses filthy language as well. Sanjay dutt is wasted. Unsure why he is casted in the first place. I would request Puri to focus on the characterisation and the plot. Unwanted action sequences and unreal events are no longer appreciated by the audience.

Have to say, I did enjoy the movie, especially the first half, at no point it was boring, predictable but entertaining as well. After watching the first part, we know Shankar's character and his language, this movie is his world, so the objectification, slurs, bad language, etc. Are passable. But the second half was outright bland and boring and ends with a random climax.
The main issue is the script, there are points like memory transfer to becomeimmortal, separate North South India countries, which, when fleshed out well, can become a potential blockbuster script. But Puri has simply used them as mere fillers to complete the story, and of course, dumb yet sexy heroine, Mumbai export villain, screaming side kick, unnecessary comedy track and OTT antics of hero, it's as clichéd as it gets and nothing fresh.
Ram is undoubtedly the lifeline of the movie, he oozes energy, unfortunately it goes missing in the second half, Kavya Thapar serves the purpose of a Puri villain, Sanjay Dutt looked stylish, Ali's Boka track is terrible, both characterisation and acting, unbearable.
Puri seriously needs to work on his script, direction wise the effort is there, but the vintage writer in him is missing.

ISmart Shankar (Ram Pothineni) is back to his old self and is a their. Big Bull (Sanjay Dutt) is a dreaded criminal who is not just insanely rich but also straight up insane, seeking immortality. Big Bull gets diagnosed with tumor and is told his days are numbered. Thus, begins the memory transfer plan once again with Shankar being the lab rat. There is a backstory to Shankar and his mother Pochamma, linked with Big Bull. Then, there is Boka for no reason. Add to this, the Puri madness of a crazy mission Big Bull is on to start a civil war within the country. How Shankar outsmarts the dumb bunch, forms rest of the story.
Puri Jagannadh's new film was an assault on all senses and his script sense has simply vanished. I did wonder that post Liger, he would really take things seriously but there is clearly no intention of reviving himself. The screenplay lacks any sort of clarity and though it has Puri's absurdity, it is simply devoid of any sort of highs. The songs were painful and the scenes are so random like it's characters, there is literally no character arc for any of the actors in the film. However silly might be the main plot, both Ram and Sanju Baba couldn't save it. But it were pointless characters like that of Pragathi as another Pochamma or even Ali's Boka, who only add onto the runtime. The content is definitely in bad taste and what is more surprising is, nobody involved in this project realized what turd they were going to film throughout the shooting schedule.

I recently watched "Double Iamart," and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The plot was a confusing mess, lacking coherence and failing to engage the audience. The characters were one-dimensional, with their motivations and actions often making little sense. The dialogue was stilted and uninspired, which made it hard to connect with the characters or care about their fates. The special effects, while ambitious, felt overdone and ultimately detracted from the storytelling rather than enhancing it. Overall, "Double Iamart" felt like a missed opportunity, with its promising premise falling flat due to poor execution and a lack of clear direction. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying cinematic experience.
Similarly, the love track is unconvincing and lacks emotional depth. The romantic subplot is poorly developed, with an underwhelming chemistry between the leads.

Really a superb and fantastic experience is gained by watching this film.**Double iSmart** is a film that generates high expectations, especially as it is the sequel to the successful 2019 movie "iSmart Shankar," directed by Puri Jagannadh. This movie brings back the electric energy and dynamic storytelling that the original was known for, while also introducing fresh elements that enhance the overall experience.
The story of "Double iSmart" picks up from where the first film left off, continuing the journey of Shankar, a street-smart, fearless protagonist played by Ram Pothineni. Shankar is a character that resonates with the masses, with his blend of wit, audacity, and unrelenting spirit. In this sequel, the stakes are higher, the challenges tougher, and the enemies more formidable, making for an engaging narrative that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
Ram Pothineni's portrayal of Shankar is nothing short of spectacular. He brings an infectious energy to the role, combining action, comedy, and drama with ease. His performance is a key highlight of the movie, showcasing his versatility as an actor. The way he embodies the character, with all its quirks and intensity, makes Shankar one of the most memorable characters in recent Telugu cinema.
Puri Jagannadh, known for his unique storytelling style, once again proves why he is a master of commercial cinema. The film is fast-paced, with a screenplay that doesn't allow for a dull moment. The dialogues are sharp, witty, and often laced with humor, reflecting Puri's signature style. The director also ensures that the movie is a visual treat, with stunning cinematography that captures the essence of the story's setting.
The action sequences in "Double iSmart" deserve special mention. They are well-choreographed and executed with precision, adding to the film's adrenaline-pumping moments. Whether it's high-octane chases or intense hand-to-hand combat scenes, the action is a major draw for the audience, particularly those who enjoyed the first installment.
One of the standout aspects of the movie is its music. The soundtrack, composed by Mani Sharma, complements the film's high-energy vibe. The songs are catchy, and the background score enhances the tension and excitement in key scenes. The music plays a significant role in elevating the overall impact of the movie.
The supporting cast, including Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh, reprise their roles from the first film and add depth to the story. Their chemistry with Ram Pothineni's character adds layers to the narrative, particularly in the emotional and romantic subplots. The villains in the movie are also well-etched, providing a worthy challenge to Shankar and adding to the film's overall tension.
The production values in "Double iSmart" are top-notch. The movie is visually appealing, with high-quality set designs, locations, and special effects that contribute to its grand scale. The editing is crisp, ensuring that the film's pace never lags, and the story flows smoothly from one sequence to the next.
However, "Double iSmart" is not without its flaws. The movie occasionally leans too heavily on the formulaic elements of commercial cinema, which might feel predictable to some viewers. There are moments where the narrative could have explored more depth in the characters or taken more risks with the plot. Yet, these shortcomings are relatively minor in the context of the overall entertainment value that the film offers.
In conclusion, "Double iSmart" is a worthy sequel that lives up to the expectations set by its predecessor. It's a film that knows its audience and delivers exactly what they come for - high-octane action, engaging drama, and a charismatic lead performance. Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni have once again created a movie that is sure to be a hit among fans of Telugu cinema. Whether you're a fan of the first film or new to the "iSmart" universe, "Double iSmart" offers a thrilling cinematic experience that's well worth the watch.

Guys Go for it....you will surely not regreat .....both northindian and south indian actor really played their great roles... The sound effect really made me goosebumps in my hand.... So it's a only time watch ....
About "cons" Director would have shown the actress little more decent ....in the whole movie I was not intentionally watching her cleavage... It's was more than half outside....it's little vulgar to watch with family.... So, plz try to improve.......
