Featured review
In the first episode of JJBA: The Phantom Blood a lot of things are happening in the story so intense that in the end we don't know what to expect next. We see some British drama with the origins of two of the most important characters in JoJo's franchise: naive, honorable, sincere protagonist - Jonathan Joestar and over-the-top behaving, ambitious villain - Dio Brando. Even if you didn't like that style, the series is worth giving a chance because of the next adventures which will change action and plot to the absurdly awesome level. The animation and voice acting are spot-on, transitions between ordinary storytelling, dramatic pauses and fights look naturally and the art style respectfully pays homage to Araki Hirohiko's manga from 1987. At some points we can say that anime did better job in keeping viewers interesting.
