Killing us a theme, though the film is not a gore fest. A creature appears to deliver and eat its own baby in probably the most shocking scene, but it is not clearly defined. Some dead rats have been mutilated. There is blood and death, but not glamourised or prominent.
Characters vomit. Some injury. Injections. Not graphic, although sufficiently shocking to make an impact.

I am not the type to count instances of bad language, but in this film I barely noticed it. I am convinced I remember 'fuck' being used if that helps set a benchmark, but it is not prominent or misplaced.
"Goddamn," "bastard," and "fuck" respectively.
