Filmed in Palace of Venaria (in italian: Reggia di Venaria), near Turin, Italy. The palace was designed and built from 1675 by Amedeo di Castellamonte, commissioned by duke Charles Emmanuel II of Savoy, who needed a base for his hunting expeditions in the heathy hill country north of Turin.
Although premiering at the 2016 Torino Film Festival, the film did not receive a wide release until 2018.
Filming was wrapped by 2014, but was not released until 2016.
