I don't really like psychological thrillers but this one got me hooked from the beginning. One thing people forgot to mention is the AMAZING music composition. It's just a one of a kind. The characters are brilliant; you can actually FEEL what each one of them is feeling. Sometimes you can even FEAR what they could/would/will be feeling. So emotional and gripping. Some events are unexpected and so sad, but that just adds to the overall message of the series.
You're gonna hate some characters. You're gonna love others. But honestly my favorite is Ozge. She's incredible. And her relationship with Sadik is something I knew I would fall in love with from the start.
It's not a long series, I would definitely recommend it. That one missing star from my rating is a little bit of all the other negative reviews.

Fi is different, unique and unpredictable. The series consist of 12 episodes which is short for a Turkish series. The storyline was well balanced and stayed mainstream without distracting subplots. I watch Turkish TV regularly and this was my first time with Ozan Guven and he was brilliant as Can Manay. His eyes and facial expressions spoke volumes. The entire cast was great. The ending was a surprise but after giving it some thought, it leaves the door wide open for the next two books to follow (Ci, Pi). Filming for Ci begins in Sep-2017.
My only complaint: the backdrop to the main characters - Duru and Deniz - are dance student and music/dance instructor, respectively. I would love to have seen more dance and music blended into the storyline because what was there was great - just not enough of it!

Don't be intrigued by all the praise for this series as all reviewers seem to be turkish (obviously) and are keen to push this. completely understandable though because this is one of the few turkish productions in the recent years without censored lines, pixelated shots of cigarettes and more than usual deep characters, based on a book written maybe 20 years too late for the turkish readers.. but it is something and therefore appreciated by the audience, which is alright in a way.
to be able to produce this, heavy sponsorship was necessary and it is unbearable for me to see those smartphones from the same brand being flashed every. single. scene. ..showed off all kinds of products from this same company with camera pans allover the brand name, actors praising the 'breakfast for champions' with a zoom on the package, energy drink cans held in that certain way towards the camera, cars or sportswear no one can really afford in the country. I have almost been expecting the price tag on all interiour items.
it is a shame but maybe the only way for this as turkish media cencorship makes it impossible to, for example, even hear any real streetlanguage on tv.
the story is like some shittier turkish black swan with super deep but actually ridiculous psycholocigal life lessons no one really wants to hear about anymore. i really liked that media mogul guy though. he's cool..
technically well done and published only online, as far as I know..

The most important thing is, it was different and also unique. Some series was unpredictable. Searching for another series like FI.

My first words to the user called "leviolent" . Although your judgement about Turkey is somewhat true, your comment made me think anyway, why does a man or woman spend relatively much time and writes lots of words to explain why he or she didn't like a serial. You may be right, some Turkish guys tried to push this serial, but it makes sense, because everybody is patriotic more or less, so they have a reason. But you, obviously, aren't Turkish or pretending as if you weren't. but if you ask me you are either Kurdish or Armenian or may be Greek. And you aren't here to review a serial, you are here because you don't like Turks and you use this platform to vent your spleen and disgorge your venomous words. I checked your account and I noticed that you watch and review mostly Turkish movies and serials those I have never heard or watched in my life. So, put off your mask and write true reviews anymore. It's better both for you and us.
Let's get back to the point. "Fi" is one of the best serials I have watched so far. Of course I don't compare it with classics like Prison Break or 24. etc. but the cast, the fiction, romance and so, bring this serial to the top.

At first you will be intrigued by the list of A list actors on this project. However, I promise it will not take more than a couple of episodes to understand it has a poorly written script. What really frustrated me big time was the quality of acting Ozan Güven and Berrak did the best with the material they were given but there were times you would not believe the lack of quality acting. They tried too hard to sound smart but Dialogues are full of boring cliches. To me the main problem is the source material. Azra Kohen is not an established writer with a lot of credibility. Her story telling has a lot of flaws and faults . It is also a total non-sense to mash-up self help cliches and a thriller together. If you dont have anything else to do, if you hate good story telling. If you have no knowledge of self help and if you love cheap high school grad level type of social messages . This is the right tv series for you to watch! If not, you will find this as an insult to your intelligence!
The story line is quite attractive,no too dramatic ,but appealing ,and the casts are having a good performance. I love Can Manay. He is so capable, powerful, confident ,mature ,caring ,elegant and having everything in control.it seems to be a perfect man in my mind ,I wish I could be someone like this in my life. And his dressing is so fashion ,he likes black a lot. Also I would like to strengthen that the background music in this program is also good.

This show was ridiculously nice, I enjoyed it to the fullest, cried, laughed and got angry at times. I could see glimpses of myself in some characters and it felt really great. I think Ozan Guven and Serenay Sarikaya especially done an amazing job, they were truly in character and portrayed the stigmas and the problems of the Turkish society. I binged watched it and was astonished by the fact that I never watched it before. The difference between love and obsessions was very well put and the thin line between them was on the spot. Congratulations to the director Mert Baykal who truly shot scenes in a very different and unique way. Thank you, for the experience.

It started off as a compelling story however, for me, fell apart as episodes progressed and characters developed.
Many loopholes and logic issues is immediately distracting. It did not help to see heavy product placement from sponsors, certain phone, car, foot and sports wear company logos pops so frequent at times that I was not sure if this was cast only for advertising.
I had issues with half the characters from get-to. Diffucult to find logic or motivation. Character relations with one another so loosely developed but at the same time they are tied so intimately at times without reason or rhyme.
It feels as if the show would be up there with top series had the time was taken to develop characters, storyline and links in a cohesive manner.
