Financially supported by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (Ccidahk), the Film Development Fund (Fdf), and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Hketo) in Jakarta, the Asian Film Awards Academy (Afaa) is collaborating with Jakarta Film Week for the first time to present a novel section “Made In Hong Kong”. From October 23 to 25, international audiences gathering in Jakarta will be introduced with Hong Kong’s cinematic creativity.

“Made In Hong Kong: Feature” will screen four Hong Kong productions, beginning with the action-packed epic “Twilight of the Warrior Walled In” by Soi Cheang. The section also includes “Love Lies”, an unconventional romantic story that begins with an online scam, by Ho Miu Ki, starring Sandra Ng and Mc Cheung; “The Remnant”, the directorial debut of Kwan Man Hin, about a former gang member confronting a gangster harassing his neighbours; and “Time Still Turns the Pages” by Nick Cheuk, an...

Chiru Labs' "Web3 anime brand" Azuki and advertising agency Dentsu have teamed up to reveal plans for a new three-part anime anthology series titled Enter the Garden , featuring Goro Taniguchi—the director of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion , One Piece Film: Red and more—as producer. The series will kick off with the first part, "The Waiting Man," on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 and will be available exclusively via Azuki's official website and YouTube channel . Parts two and three will follow "in the coming months." Junichi Yamamoto ( Haigakura ) directs "The Waiting Man," with Taku Kishimoto ( Haikyu!! ) writing and Kinu Nishimura ( Overman King Gainer ) providing character designs. The cast includes Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki in Gintama ), Akari Kito (Nezuko in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ) and Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass ).
