Was filmed in a small town in Ontario, Canada not Texas. The name of the town is Port Perry.
Main characters house, is located in Heritage Estates homes, in Markham.
There is no way this was filmed in Texas. All Texas vehicles have registration stickers displayed on the driver's side of the of the front window. Our window stickers are the equivalent of plate stickers. None of the vehicles in this movie are displaying the Texas registration sticker.
Near the end of the movie when talking to her mother about her job offer Tyler's necklace pendant moves from the center of her neck to the side by her lapel.
Premiered a mere couple of months after filming ended.
