Relationships as they seem from outside need not be the truth. When everything including relations has to follow the 21th century invention of being defined, the ones that are not, are the most heart rendering,cherished and beautiful. This film is also about the protagonists of the film making fraternity. The clinching factor of this being more enjoyably thoughtful film is the manner in which these two aspects are entwined.Its a downstream journey with two feet two different boats and rather than be scared, one is enjoying this. No matter what culture you come from you would like this movie very much. Its bereft of any zone (physical,mental,day-to-day methods of slugging it out), u name it or can think about any outlandish sphere or parabola.

could not agree more with the review posted by "Michael Bay look like Bergman". An absolute blast from the past (depends on ur age though,mine is 37 so it certainly does hold true).Like the proverbial "put your feet up", get a chilled pack of your favorite drink,a big cheeseburger,crank up the receiver a wee bit than usual (never mind the neighbors,they usually come without a sense of occasion). And what you have is the stage all set to blow you away.And when it ends this movie makes you say wow, that was something. All this good quality time spent watching jason and sly put in a stellar show at the price less than that of any made in china stuff u get at Walmart.Awesome movie and i still go on and revisit some of the scenes,its that kind of movie.

10 cos its Jack Nicholson and Morgan FREEMAN TOGETHER.

I couldn't care less if they sat through the movie scratching their armpits.

Cant help but re-iterate that cliché - they hardly make movies like this. Thankgod i was born just in time to see them and many more movies like these.

And its very very good.

10/10 to the "casting" folks.

wannabe Ingrid Bergmanns and Hepburns that are called actors nowadays, for cryin out loud!
