The Prince & Me (2004)
All right, but incorrect
I enjoyed this movie, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm a Dane myself. I found myself smiling on a few occasions, which involved Danish actors or mentions of other Danish things.
But there's many things that's not correct, obviously. Danish princes are practically always called Christian or Frederik, we currently don't have a king but a queen, we speak Danish and our newspapers are also in Danish, and monarchs are not allowed to be involved in politics. I'm sure there is more, but I can't remember.
But it's a cute story, predictable, but it's a romantic comedy, and those are predictable.
See it, enjoy it, but don't take it too literally.
Supervoksen (2006)
Must-see for teenage-girls
This is about three girls, Rebekka, Claudia and Sofie. They want to prove, that they aren't immature little children. So Rebekka comes up with a way to do that, and it certain some quite sexual and embarrassing challenges...
I really like this film. It's good with the effects, and the colors are great too. Especially the slow-motion scenes, it looks like a music-video or something. The characters are cool and because they are so different, it's easy to see some of yourself in all three.
I went to see this with a lot of expectations, and that's always dangerous, because most often you get disappointed. I would like to say, that I didn't get disappointed at all, but I did, just a little bit. I would still recommend it for all teenage-girls, it's fun, interesting and you're glad it's not yourself!
