I'm not going to sit here and pick at the music or special effects like I was an expert. That is all opinion and some people should try making a movie before saying bad things about this. I was never bored, the music was great and the story kept my interest. I thought the acting was well @ a 7 level and the script well written.

I am a SciFi fan. 5th Element is still #1 in my book. It sort of has the speed of 2001 or Aliens. It has a great story line and realistic ways to look at things. The special effects were great and fit very well.

As it stand alone since I am not one to bash I give it a solid 7. One thing that is important.... WATCH IT TO THE END!

It is kind of a 12 Monkey style with a couple things I won't spoil you on.

Too many people think they are on their high horse and put their noses up at something as simple as a good movie. It has suspense, adventure and a little family togetherness. I compare it to Spy Kids type movies. I'm 57 and watched it from beginning to the end and thought it a wonderful Disney production. I even liked the Harry Potter style magic and theme. If you are expecting adult story lines with flash backs and lots of fighting then go see another movie. This one is good clean fun.... NO CUSSING and I love that. It's sad when something this good gets torn up by pompous idiots that think the author might not have approved or some deep dive into the characters. I have no back stories and don't care about that junk.

For a great clean movie for the family this was an awesome movie. As always most of these reviews are probably by people that didn't even watch it... lol

This is my first movie review because I think it should be higher and worth a watch. I love the Sci-Fi movies… 5th Element, Star Wars, Aliens, Star Trek (Not TOS) etc. I do not like B rated ones because I expect some good special effects and props. I like a movie to have more scenery then a small control panel on a ship. This movie had several sets and some nice scenes of space. The effects were nice and the plot was easy to follow. It was well edited, flowed and left a little to the imagination at the end. Ignore the lower user reviews, they are more of a pompous one sided I know everything about movies look. Complaining that it is not like other movies. It isn't like other movies. Even the two real critics that reviewed it liked it. The acting was well done and I really thought they pulled off the dialog. If a Sci-Fi movie is worth watching it is over a 5. If it is really entertaining it gets a 7/8.. If you put 5th element and Aliens on the 10 side this movie comes in with an 8 easily.
