Another Life (2019)
I added 2 stars because I love the premise
All the reviews I read are exactly what I think as well. Even though it's a fantasy sci fi there needs to be some sort of realism to the characters at least. None of the people on the ship would've been in any sort of space program and wouldn't be in charge of a ship and definitely wouldn't have been in charge of saving the human race. It's like the PC police came and dictated what the cast should be then a 16 year old gave them all their traits. But I have to mention that despite all of this I continued watching because the premise itself I love. Any sort of sci fi show in which there's a mysterious object sucks me in no matter how horrible the dialogue is. So if that's the case for you too go ahead and give it a try.
New Amsterdam: The Denominator (2019)
So far from reality
I normally like this show but giving a barber shop the ability to act as doctors and hand out meds? Cmon. This is so ridiculous

Don't Worry Darling (2022)
Could've been better but not horrible
I agree with many other reviews saying the movie had a ton of promise and then wasted it however I'm not mad I watched it. The ending could've been better for sure and a little more of the underlying premise would've made it more intriguing. One of the better build ups in these types of movies though for sure. I don't have anything more to say but imdb needs 600 characters for some reason so we're just going to paste this again I guess. Slow Horses: Failure's Contagious (2022)
What?
Forget the rest of the episode. This is supposed to be realistic and they do an exercise in a real airport scaring the hell out of real people and causing chaos in the scariest place to have chaos? How is this supposed to be plausible? Knocking the wrong guy down on the tarmac? Some things are just
hard to get over and this is one. 100 people involved in the most public place during an exercise. Just ridiculous. And it appears they now need 600 characters to write a review even though I'm only reviewing 1 episode so now I have to just make stuff up to finally get there until the character count finally reach..
Into the Dark (2018)
My main issue is
Look, I like the show. My issue is that everything is looked up on sites like this one, imdb now. On the front of Hulu today shows a movie titled Blood Moon. Go look for it. You'll NEVER find it. That's because it's an episode of I to the Dark. But nowhere on its Hulu details page does it mention into the dark. The only way I found out is by searching one of the actors and tracing it back. Who would purposely do this? Most who look things up first will pass this up like I was about to. Typically the only reason you can't find a movie is because it was made so awfully that it doesn't even have a page on IMDb. It's just strange that so many people put time into something and they make it this hard to care about. Oh well. It's not that great anyway. Into the Dark has many better episodes to choose from.
Willow Creek (2013)
Lowest rating I've given a found footage
I understand that found footage movies need the slow buildup but this movie was ridiculous. There are whole moments of them just looking at each other. Awful.
The Baby (2022)
Could've been a contender
It's a unique feeling when you begin a show that is so incredibly unique with so much promise and it ends up awful. Beyond the show itself, what bothers me is that this premise is now used up. That particular idea has been done and nobody will make anything similar to it again. I bet by episode 3 you'll be in full " turn this off already" mode.
For All Mankind: Polaris (2022)
WOW!
I dont understand any rating under 9. This episode was awesome and unique to any other show. Just wow. The anxiety and the Dont Be Cruel during the wedding is amazing.
RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) (2022)
Easiest 10 ever
I often pause for a second and wonder if I should really be giving whatever I'm rating a 10. Does it really deserve it. This one doesn't need a moment. It's a pure 10. No doubts at all.
The Power of the Dog (2021)
It doesn't do what it's trying to do
It's difficult for me to look past certain details. In the movies own description Phil is "charismatic, inspiring fear and awe in those around him". If that's what they were going for, it didn't turn out well. It feels more like he's the least dim witted of the bunch, but that's saying almost nothing.
Invasion (2021)
I haven't been this excited for a show in years...
First, if somehow this show pulls it together I will raise my rating. I WANT to raise my rating. The trailers looked so great and the story looked interesting. But I wonder how a show with this much money behind it and this many stars can be written and made so horribly. There are too many storylines by about 50%. The arc with the English students who end up on a bus should be scrapped completely. The dramatic emotional moments feel soooo forced that it's embarrassing thinking of these poor kids having to say the lines. One particular scene has 2 rivals playing "who's got the worst father" and I couldn't help but to think that kids parents are kicking themselves for trying to keep it together.

The Good Doctor (2017)
Before you watch, remember. It's just fiction
I watched the whole show and while we all know it's a made up story, sometimes it's hard to remember that while watching a show about doctors or any trying to be like "real life". If you work in a hospital in any way you're probably going to be talking to the tv a lot not an episode goes by where someone wouldn't be fired for their actions and the surgery's themselves will be even harder to watch in both positive and negative senses. Not an episode goes by where a patient doesn't flatline only to be brought back. And nearly none go by where they don't solve an unsolvable case no matter how bad the prognosis. People get news they have cancer throughout their entire bodies then are celebrating their new lease on life 8 minutes later. In the beginning they're mostly first year doctors so it's a little strange that a group of brand new doctors find cures for dam near everything, almost immediately. And Shawn would absolutely not be a surgeon irl or if he was they'd keep him hidden back in the OR. It's a younger House but on mega steroids. So again, it's a good show, just keep reminding yourself "it's just a show".
Schitt$ Creek (2015)
I don't understand the reviews
I just don't get it. I see all the great reviews and I tend to love every other show with similar reviews but so much about this show is hard to watch. The entire plot is bad. It is almost never funny. And all I feel about that main guy is that he's the other guys rl son and how horrible it must have been to work with him. Lol, I'm sorry but it's all that goes thru my mind. He just looks like the exact spoiled child of a Hollywood star who is as horrible or worse than his character on the show.
The Believer (2021)
I watched it based on a bad review
I read this review that pointed out so many bad things I needed to see for myself. So I purposely started a movie I knew wasn't supposed to be good and I'm writing this review like 6 minutes into the movie because in the opening scene I just LOVED the force a woman side flings a plate directly behind herself at like 200 mph. It was awesome. I've watched that plate throw 4 times. I may never actually make it to the end of this movie.
2149: The Aftermath (2016)
3 movie titles...1 movie
On IMDb this is called Darwin and also Confinement but on Amazon it's known as 2149:The Aftermath. I've watched a lot of movies but never seen 3 completely separate movie titles before. I haven't even watched it yet but when you can't get past the title without a mess you know it's gonna be trouble.
Come True (2020)
Wow
I'm rewriting my review. I really really like that. I sat and thought about it at the end. I could've never imagined that ending. So great.
Solos (2021)
I don't understand these low reviews
So to be fair I'm only 3 episodes in so maybe these low ratings turn out true but there's a few little aha moments when something from 1 ep has a little of another in it. I found that very nice when it happens in Episode 3. I won't totally knock the bad reviews since I haven't seen them all yet but after finishing episode 3 I'm a weak 8.
Supervillain: The Making of Tekashi 6ix9ine (2021)
Supervillain?
I did find it interesting and I get that going with the supervillain stuff was to get attention. But acting as if he was methodical or calculating with everything he did is a joke. You're giving him way way too much credit. Sure people watched because of the outrageousness of it all but to think he had some grand plan in it all is just stupid. And to think he was cool with all the hate he got is wrong as well. He's like millions of other teens in America he got a taste of being famous then went to any lengths to make it continue until it all caught up with him. If it was as calculated as this doc portrays he would've never ended up where he did.
Debris (2021)
So unique and interesting
I'm only writing a review because it's sitting at 6.4 stars and I almost didn't try it because of that. This is the most unique and interesting show since Lost. Of course there's only a handful of episodes as I'm writing this so it could easily go off the rails but it definitely deserves to be given a try before you pass it up. I dare you to watch the first one and not immediately want more.
Haunter (2013)
You have to just laugh....
We find out immediately this girls been living the same day over for weeks. So the first thing she does is....laundry? It's just comical. I feel like by day 5 of repeats you'd be casually killing people in the street. Laundry😂
Into the Dark: The Body (2018)
Same movie made a few years ago
Seems strange they'd remake a movie that was just made a few years ago. Same title and same movie. Sort of ruined it for me.
The Body (2013)
Same movie made twice?
There is a episode from the Into the Dark Series with the same exact show in it. Really weird that 2 people would make the same movie.
Love Me (2020)
Warm and a nice movie.
There's nothing super special about this movie but it just keeps you happy while you watch it. Definitely a "feel good" story. Worth a watch.
Motherland: Fort Salem (2020)
Should be more stars
The premise of this show is awesome. Unfortunately it seems to be written for teens with petty girl fighting and not great writing. This show could've been awesome if it was grittier or more like The Boys.
