'' A Real Pain '' is a movie about two cousins who travel to Poland in order to visit their grandmother's house before she lived through the horrors of the Nazis and the holocaust.

The duo, portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, are polar opposites, and that dynamic is the core of the movie, along with the emotional impact of revisiting the past's atrocities.

Hence, the movie is mostly supported by the performances that are all strong.

On the other hand, the story never goes too deep into the cousins' background and story, though it is evident by many comments from the characters that there is a big trauma to be uncovered.

Netflix Series '' Apple Cider Vinegar '' is a tv series based on a true event, as it explores the fraud committed by Belle Gibson, and Australian influencer who has convinced everyone that she's a cancer survivor.

The series, first of all, has strong and enjoyable performances by every actor and actress in the cast, but, especially the leading ladies stole the spotlight more than once.

The colours and the settings, moreover, were glossy and bright. However, that, along with the humourous nods, gave the series a lighter mood and a more fun approach, when the story was quite dark and serious.

Also, the pace was all over the place and made the timeline confusing, as it moved back and forth too quickly and without clear indication.

So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Drama '' Melo Movie '' is a drama about young people chasing their dreams despite their traumas.

The drama is quite slow-paced, with impressive cinematography and a nice soundtrack.

It also has some strong performances by all the actors and actresses of the cast, but, especially, the main leads, who also had strong chemistry to boot.

However, and despite the slice of life vibes that were spot on, and the strong family drama, the series had a scattered plot, which it didn't handle quite well, as to produce the right emotional impact when it was needed.

So, overall six out of ten.....
