Spanish Flan
Spanish Flan
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 T. vanilla extract
Melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Pour into a 9-inch round baking pan, coating the sides. Beat the eggs. Add the sweetened condensed and evaporated milk, and the vanilla. Pour this mixture into the baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 F in preheated oven for 1 hour. Carefully invert the flan on a serving plate when cool. Makes 8 servings.
