More than 120 world leaders came together for the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow – and Greta Thunberg had something to say about it.
The Swedish activist joined fellow protestors to put the government on blast for not doing enough against the climate emergency, dropping the f-bomb in the process.
Speaking at Festival Park in Glasgow, the 18-year-old said: “No more blah blah blah, no more whatever the f*** they are doing inside there.”
Thunberg proceeded to accuse politicians of “pretending to take our future seriously, pretending to take the present seriously.”
“Change is not going to come from inside there, that is not leadership - this is leadership,” she said. “We say no more blah blah blah, no more exploitation of people and the planet.”

Thunberg then bursts into song (while imitating a Scottish accent): “You can shove your climate crisis up your a***”, she sings as the crowd enthusiastically joins in.
The activist later reposted the clip to her five million Twitter followers, writing “When in Scotland...”
“She is iconic,” one said while another preferred her Rickroll moment at the Climate Live concert, “Never gonna give you up was better,” they tweeted.

Earlier on Monday, Boris Johnson opened the COP26 ceremony with his keynote speech. “If we don’t get serious about climate change today, it will be too late for our children to do so tomorrow”, Johnson said.
The prime minister unleashed his inner Thunberg by coining her “blah, blah, blah” phrase, which she used as a jab against people in power and their empty climate change promises.
“All those promises will be nothing but blah, blah, blah,” Johnson added.
COP’s aim is to bring governments from around the globe together to discuss the accelerating climate problem. Germany’s Angela Merkel, President Emmanuel Macron of France and US President Joe Biden, who appeared to have zoned out mid-speech, were among those gathered at the ceremony.
