Introduction: Bird Head

Hi everyone!

Today I will show you how I made this bird head! As you see, it looks like a Steam punk mask. This head is part of a costume that I made with some friends in the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Hope you like it! show me your results :)

Step 1: Step 1: Building Structure

Here, buy a helmet of styrofoam, this will be the base for the head. Then, you will cover the helmet with cardboard modeling the form of the bird head, including the beak.

Step 2: Step 2: Covering the Beak and Head

To paint the beak, you have to cover it with newsprint and paste (glue) and you will give texture to the beak. You will have to cover the head pasting pieces of fabric color of the feathers, this is for give it volume.

Step 3: Step 3: Making Feathers, Finishing Touch

Cut the fabric making feathers with diferent colors and put those feathers in the head. Paint the beak and add buttons with diferent sizes and styles ¿what you will use to make the eyes?
